Unusual to see these short ones, but the LWB ones seemed popular with carper fitters and tradesmen who needed a decent loadbay length (saw a tidy M-reg example in such a capacity just this morning).

The Fujica Compact Deluxe is a 35 mm rangefinder camera made by Fuji Film Japan on the '60. This camera was from a friend of mine. You can read the user's manual at www.scribd.com/doc/30795468/Fujica-Compact-Deluxe-35-mm-r...

Another flower macro/close-up from our garden. These Dahlia buds have very interesting and beautiful looking colors and patterns on them. Nature has an amazing way of packaging these beauties... one day they are just small buds and the next day you find them in full bloom!

Wishing you all a great start to the week!

My Flowers & Macro set.

So i live in a single dorm room. you would expect there to be a lot of room, since it was designed as a double, however i am stuck with two sets of furniture, as my school lacks storage space. I tried putting the two desks side by sise, but kept forgetting they were two desks....then i decided to compact it down, my monitor and tv fit on the desk very well, and a my power cables are hidden behind the desk. My main computer is the macbook, under the keyboard. However since i am to lazy to drag myself out of bed in the mornings, and love music i use the netbook to connect to my macbook from where ever i am in my room. (it also works well to scare the crap out of friends)

Kersey is a small picturesque village about 2.5 miles north-west of Hadleigh.

Kersey is often described as Suffolk's prettiest village, although it might be more accurate to say that it is the county's quaintest.

If you plan to visit Suffolk you cannot possibly leave without seeing Kersey.

Kersey looking in the opposite direction, north-west, along The Street which, unusually for a village of this age, is quite wide. Long before Shakespeare's time Kersey was famous for Kersey cloth which made the village prosperous. The ford or water splash, is actually a tributary of the River Brett which flows through Hadleigh. The timbered gable of the Bell Inn with its hanging baskets can be seen on the left of the road.

Although most of the buildings have tiled rooves you may notice one cottage with a thatched roof (dark hay colour) at the top of the village at the far end.

The 14th century Bell Inn.

Lots of oak beams, flagstone floors and, of course, it is supposed to have a resident ghost. It has a varied menu and the food is good!

Kersey has its own small pottery producing distinctive stoneware.

This pottery uses a special blend of local materials to achieve a spectrum of glazes with unusual textures and flashes of iridescent colour with each individual piece having six or more glaze applications.

I find the issue and move the box that blocked the chute. Frankly the shit must have Piled up all day. I fixed the compactor and it took twenty minutes... but eventually the bag slid down the cute. I did stop the compactor to see if I could grab it. I could not.

The bag in the hopper waiting to be compactor. I tried to grab it (yes the compactor is off, doesn’t work when the door is open). But I could not get it it was jammed in there, I figure I know when it is so could get the bag out after the cycle. I was fucking wrong.

Surprisingly compact for 5,100 pounds of thrust (about 5,000 HP). First generation British engine powered the Canadian version of T-33 as well as Russian Mig15 (reverse engineered from a purchase of 50).

After WWII the Soviets took a lot of the axial flow jet engines that powered the German Me262 home and tried to perfect them but gave up and bought the 50 Nene 10's. It may seem now like insanity for the British to have sold them but they were probably acutely aware at that time that had it not been for the Red Army we'd all be speaking German, at least those of us not worked to death in slave labour camps.

This is in the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum in Hamilton, Ontario, and well worth a visit. The Hamilton transit system even provided free cab rides to the museum from beyond the last bus stop or at least they did when I visited in 2006. The museum maintains some rare warbirds in flying condition. If you ever wanted a ride in an Avro Lancaster this is the place to go. It's an easy day trip from Toronto by bus or train.

Mei Tung Estate (traditional Chinese: 美東邨) is a public housing estate at the south of Wong Tai Sin. It consists of 2 Old Slab-typed blocks, each building is 8-storey, providing over 600 flats. Although the estate is near Kowloon City, it belongs to Wong Tai Sin District rather than Kowloon City District because it is located at the north of Tung Tau Tsuen Road (traditional Chinese: 東頭村道), the boundary between two districts.

Sperryville is in Rappahannock, County, Virginia. Small, but compact, this vernacular house has a large shingled front gable with a decorated vergeboard in the gable (along with an interesting vent). There is some nice woodwork on the small porch posts.

Some time ago I bought a Yashica T4 with a 35mm Tessar lens from a friend and tried it with B&W. Now my favourite quality 35mm compact is the Ricoh GR1S so I loaded both with Kodacolor 200 to see how they performed alongside each other. This wasn't a 'quality of lens' battle it was more about which is easier to use and which focal length do I prefer. A bit unfair as I've used the Ricoh for more than 20 years and 28mm is my favourite focal length!!! Anyway here goes with the results. With this landscape the 35mm wasn't wide enough to give the composition I wanted so I turned the camera to portrait mode.
