Salendo a Brunate con la vecchia mulattiera, nei pressi dell’ex convento di San Donato, la vista si apre su Como illuminata mentre all’orizzonte s’affievolisce l’ultima luce del giorno.

The tranquility each morning on Lake Como was amazing, this was the view from the apartment balcony in Onno, for a couple of mornings I was gifted some nice light and colour in the sky. The hue towards the north end of the lake was always blue and hazy
My wife and I just returned from our first trip to this beautiful lake resort area. This is a small town on Lake Como, Italy just north of Milan. The lake area is filled with little towns crawling up the sides of mountains. Some of the scenery looks surreal. There are many beautiful villas surrounded by tall cypress trees overlooking the lake. Lake Como is a landscape photographer's dream. I hope I can help illustrate the beauty of Lake Como with some of my images. Enjoy.

Piazza della Repubblica (Republic Square) is a city square in Florence, Italy. It is on the site, first of the city's forum and then of the city's old ghetto, which was swept away during the city improvement works or Risanamento initiated during the brief period when Florence was the capital of a reunited Italy, work that also created the city's avenues and boulevards.
The ghetto's remains may still be seen in the square, as may the Mercato Vecchio, the Loggia del Pesce.
