It was brighter this day and very windy again. Got a half decent shot of this handsome bird at Peace Valley Park, New Britain Pa.

Redpolls travel in flocks of up to several hundred individuals. They move frenetically, foraging on seeds in weedy fields or small trees one minute and swirling away in a mass of chattering birds the next. Their buzzy zap and rising dreeee calls are distinctive.
Though I have heard the Common Yellowthroat, this is the first one this year I have caught out in the open.

The common magpie is a bird that's true to its name over here (very common sight in backyards and parks). Nonetheless, under the right conditions; it can still be surpisingly beautiful.
Additionally, as the year draws to a close; a quick thank you to everyone who has viewed my work over the past year, the great work I've seen in return and people who I've interacted with. Hope you all have a spectacular (photography) year in 2026.

Wikipedia: Cirrochroa tyche, the common yeoman, is a species of nymphalid butterfly found in forested areas of tropical South Asia and Southeast Asia.
The adult Common Loon was part of a small group of migrants that were passing through. There were a few adults and juveniles that were spotted in the same area.
