FIELD MARKS-The Common Mynah is brown with a black head. It has a yellow bill, legs and bare eye skin. In flight it shows large white wing patches. The Common Mynah is a member of the starling family and is also known as the Indian Myna or Indian Mynah
The Common Zebra is gorgeous. They have broader stripes than their cousins, and when they are young, they have tinges of brown that later turns to black. They keep on the lookout for one another, so you will often see them facing in opposite directions...each looking for lions in different directions.

Common fruit fly or vinegar fly have brick red eyes, are yellow-brown in color, and have transverse black rings across their abdomen. They exhibit sexual dimorphism: females are about 2.5 millimeters (0.098 in) long; males are slightly smaller and the back of their bodies is darker. Males are easily distinguished from females based on color differences.

Male Common Flameback @ Japanese Garden
The Common Flameback Woodpecker (Dinopium Javanese) is a common bird in Singapore. It is a strikingly colorful bird and has a crest of either red or black, depending on the sex. The female has a black crest, and the male has a red crest.
It is found in open coastal woodlands, mangroves and mature gardens. Its shrill calls and rapid tappings on tree-trunks are indicative of its presence.
Woodpeckers are primarily insectivorous, feeding mainly on insects and their larvae, as well as other arthropods. Many have also been observed to feed on plant products including tree sap.
