My commitment to wellness involves a daily (okay - almost daily) dose of apple cider vinegar. It's fish night. I sprinkle on the the vinegar instead of the tartar sauce.

The University of Texas at Austin and the Embassy of France have committed to an agreement to establish an endowment to support research collaborations and strengthen academic cooperation between UT Austin and France.
“Global engagement is an essential component of The University of Texas at Austin’s educational and research missions,” said UT Austin President Gregory L. Fenves. “This partnership will strengthen the important relationship between Texas and France and benefit citizens in both nations.”
The Dr. Cécile Dewitt-Morette France-UT Endowed Excellence Fund will solidify the commitment between France and UT Austin to support scholarship that will lead to generations of joint discoveries and deepen the historical ties between the people of France and Texas.
“The Embassy of France is committed to encouraging sustainable cooperation between French and American universities to foster new discoveries as well as students’ and researchers’ mobility,” said Gérard Araud, ambassador of France to the United States. “This new France-University of Texas at Austin program, named for the famous physicist Cécile DeWitt-Morette, will open new perspectives of cooperation in all fields of science and humanities.”
The endowment will honor the life and work of the late mathematician, physicist and UT Austin professor Cécile DeWitt-Morette, who was born and educated in France. A recipient of the French Legion of Honor, DeWitt-Morette leaves a trans-Atlantic legacy as a researcher, educator and champion for improving global science relations. During her storied career, she held the Jane and Roland Blumberg Centennial Professor Emerita in Physics at UT Austin and founded L’École de Physique des Houches, a school that has produced more than 25 winners of the Nobel Prize and the Fields Medal.
With the departure of My first real life boy comes a realization of how deep My commitment phobia really goes. I involuntarily associate commitment with inevitable intense pain which makes Me want to avoid committing to anything I believe is fated to end. But it's neverending...circular....infinite...our capacity to love and our capacity to be hurt. I dwell on My thoughts of whether or not it is worth it to love and commit to the fullest despite what I fear in hopes that I will finally conquer that fear and gain what I craved all along.

Created from 95% recycled materials, Airlie's LOVEwork is representative of our commitment to sustainable initiatives. Since 1961, Airlie has been a pioneer among environmentally friendly ("green") hotel and conference center practices in the United States. Click here to learn more about our green initiatives and practices.
Items used to create our LOVEwork include recycled wine bottles, Trex composite decking (created from soda bottles and grocery bags), reclaimed scrap yard steel, a tractor tire from the Fauquier County landfill, even live plants and vines, which truly bring our sculpture to life. In the evening, it is illuminated by LED solar panel lighting.
L - Recycled wine bottles, Trex.
O - Tractor tire recovered from Fauquier County Landfill. (Fun fact: Tractor tires of this size cannot be put through the shredder, so often times they find a new life in the landfill as bumpers)
V - Trex trellis with English Ivy and seasonal climbing plants.
E - Trex and scrap yard steel combine to create the E. Couples married at Airlie will receive a lock to affix to the "E" to symbolize their union. While we refrain from discarding keys into the lake, there is a special box resting in the tractor tire where couples will "throw away" their key.
