Farming For Justice with Maurice Small, Strategist
Maurice Small, Food Strategist, works in communities of low wealth to make sure they are able to activate the wealth they have internally and that they have around them. Maurice provides tools communities need to have great food access, food health and food awareness.
Maurice Small is an independent consultant with 25 years of experience in urban/ rural food systems development, youth entrepreneurship training, and soil creation. Maurice inherited his profound respect and love for the earth from his parents. This love for natural process and growth nurtures his strong desire to build community as he teaches and cultivates regional visions for sustainable agriculture, healthy lifestyles in underserved communities & urban/rural collaboration between growers and vendors. His work to address the development of a more sustainable regional food system began in Northeast Ohio in 1988 with vacant lot reclamation, community garden creation, work with local after-school programs and volunteering with organizations to cultivate urban local food production.
His current contract work in North America address's urban and rural food system creation, food justice awareness programming and urban/peri urban soil production with worms.

Some commented on the clarity of the photo I posted of the same car.. well that is the effect of the pano with a 1.8 lens guys so only one portion of the car is in focus while the rest is not...
anyway... I think you get the idea with this, for clarity in these shots, you need to keep the car perpendicular to you :P

Beaucoup de femmes modernes sont capables de vivre passivement et de souffrir efficacement. Pour elles, #Amour est synonyme de dépendance. Car si les femmes exigent beaucoup des hommes, elles sont le plus souvent incapables de dire ce qu'elles sont capables de leur apporter en retour. Prendre et recevoir - c'est un passif. Donner - c'est un actif. Ceci est la base de tous les principes de construction d’une relation. C'est une puissance, une énergie qui peut tout actionner. La femme ne doit pas avoir à attendre et recevoir au lieu de partager son énergie féminine. Sinon elle est vouée à la solitude. Regarde les femmes couronnées de succès. Tu trouves toujours quelque chose intéressante dans chacune d’elle. Il y a les valeurs de la vie qui peuvent changer dans certain cas, mais il y a celles qui ont survécus pendant des milliers d'années. Pendant des siècles, l'attitude proactive fut l’avantage de la femme qui réussit. La femme active sait obtenir ce qu'elle veut de la vie. Elle n'hésite pas, elle ne pense pas comment les autres vont la regarder. Elle décide et elle agit, elle augmente son énergie, elle multiplie ses valeurs matérielles et spirituelles. Si tu es célibataire, alors, ta tâche est de ne pas attendre le prince charmant, mais de prendre ta vie en mains et, comme Cendrillon, participer à des bals régulièrement et répandre tes pantoufles (soit ton numéro de téléphone !).
