The evening sky seemed to say "nice sunset coming " so I jumped in the car and drove out to the lake, this time with my tripod (and a battery in the camera!) to try some long exposure shots..By the time I got there the heavy clouds had moved in, but there was still plenty of color near the horizon for about half hour after the sun disappeared. The trees are a bit blury because there was a steady breese, and i did my best to keep the camera still, but now I want a remote control thingy for the shutter release... On explore Aug 30 @ #264

From this mornings walk that did not last very long as I found this amazing little Dolophones on a bit of grass. I was excited to see if I could get a nice deep stack after noticing it has a flagpole on its back.
I went looking for a stick with some moss on it once I had that I had my needed ingredients. I used a cardboard box for the background which worked very well. I waited patiently trying to coax this guy into a nice spot. After several tries it seems it decided to get into the most awesome position ever and allowed me enough time to brace myself and capture 70 images it was almost as if it knew I had what I needed as I had just enough time to rattle off 70 and it moved.
I am so pleased with this image.
70 hand held images where loaded into Adobe PS for stacking.
The spider was released exactly where it was found unharmed and famous on social media.

France. Vosges. Alsace. Haut-Rhin. Vallée de Munster. Photo prise lors d'une rando en boucle partielle effectuée avec ma femme au départ du Gaschney, en passant successivement par le Lac de Schiessrothried, le Col du Wormspel, le haut de la crête des Spitzkoepfe, une partie du Sentier des Névés, le Col du Wormspel à nouveau, le Hohneck et pour finir le Col de Schaeferthal.
Les paysages grandioses et les magiques couleurs d'automne au soleil ont fait de cette rando une de nos plus belles randos ! ❤️
Cette photo a été prise dans la magnifique forêt qui sépare le Lac de Schiessrothried et le Col du Wormspel, peu avant de déboucher dans le superbe Cirque du Wormspel.
Il est difficile de restituer fidèlement en photo l'ambiance magique que nous avons ressentie dans la traversée de cette forêt. En tout cas, malgré l'absence de point de vue sur les paysages alentour, c'est peut-être le moment de la journée que nous avons préféré. Et nous n'avions encore jamais été subjugués par tant de beauté en forêt que cette fois-ci, pas même dans la magnifique forêt du Battert près de Baden-Baden !
Nous avons eu droit à un cocktail divin entre rochers, mousse, feuilles d'automne et lumière du soleil. Et nous avons ressenti une immense plénitude, qui a délicieusement ralenti nos pas et nous a permis d'emmagasiner un maximum de bonheur au fond de nos cœurs infiniment reconnaissants ! ❤️🙏
J'espère tout de même que cette photo restituera un peu cette ambiance magique ... 😊
