… this underground CP is located at the end of RAF Hornchurch’s main runway, on the Rainham side. Its entrance is now apparently filled in. Given its small size, it must have felt pretty cramped in it during emergencies such as air attacks.
Life on the tall ship St Lawrence II includes some pretty amazing sunsets. Here the Executive Officer and Watch Officer are captured between the top of the deck house and the boom for the main sail.

For some of Canons more modern EF-S lenses there are replacement EF mounts available to buy. The DIY mount conversion is easy, as there are only 6 small screws (4 for the bayonet; 2 for the contacts) holding the EF-S bayonet.
Additional advantage is the now metal mount, as there was always criticism for the plastic lens mounts.
I have successfully converted following EF-s lenses to EF mount:
Canon EF-S 10–18mm f/4.5–5.6 IS STM (covers APS-H from ~12mm and even full frame from 14mm upwards)
Canon EF-S 18–55mm f/3.5–5.6 IS STM (covers APS-H from ~22mm)

A geeky computer joke. This shell is nature's way of exploring cellular automata :).
A cellular automaton is a mathematical technique that evolves a collection of data using very simple rules. This shell exhibits that sort of evolution along its outer surface.
In the computer world, a shell is a program that accepts a persons inputs (usually by typing commands) and then spits out the results.
The girls remained in Adrienne’s living room, but everything felt eerily altered.
“They can’t see us, but we can see them,” Kayla whispered. “I moved us between dimensions.”
Through the thick fog that now separated them from their previous reality, Adrienne clung tightly to Kayla’s hand, watching the two men enter the room. Their movements were sharp, calculated, as they began combing the house.
“No one’s here. Check the device,” one commanded.
The other rushed to the closet, his fingers trailing the empty space on the shelf where the device had been only moments ago. “It was here. Now it’s gone. They were here… and they have it.
A deep, guttural growl rumbled from the bald man as he surveyed the room.
Then, abruptly, he turned—his stare locking onto Adrienne and Kayla, as if he could see beyond the veil. His nostrils flared as he inhaled deeply… Adrienne held her breath.
“The stench is strong. They were here. Not long ago. Maybe they still are.” His voice was rough, primal, as his gaze scoured the space. “We will return. We’ll track their signal.”
Again, he took in the air, then slashed a hand through the space where the girls stood. It passed through harmlessly, though he swung again. And again.
Frustration boiled beneath his skin, erupting into another low growl. “I will have you both.” With that final promise, the two men turned and left.

This memorial in Green Park, London, commemorates the crews of RAF Bomber Command that embarked on missions during the Second World War. The memorial was built to mark the sacrifice of 55,573 aircrew from Britain, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Poland, Czechoslovakia and other allied countries, as well as civilians of all nations killed during raids. Queen Elizabeth II unveiled the memorial on June 28, 2012, in the year of her Diamond Jubilee.

Adams Place Elevated Walkway (Canary Wharf Crossrail Bridge), London, England
The hippest place to photograph in London at the moment! I think most of you will know where this is but for those who don't its the brand new elevated walkway over Adams Place taking to you to the new Crossrail station (not open yet), this bridge only opened a month or so a go so as you can imagine its popular with photographers.
Whilst in London the other week I couldn't resist in visiting this stunning looking structure and what makes it even more interesting for me is that its designed by Sir Norman Foster, I am a big fan of his and there is a lot of buildings in London now designed by him.
I really enjoyed editing this photo, its one of them photos that seem to edit well and I have many idea of doing another few different edits to this photo, I might do a triptych at some point.
As you can see there is a chap at the end of the bridge which I quite liked as an addition to the photo and believe it or not he came up to me and apologised for being in my photo but I thanked and said it was no problem. Not long after another guy came up to me and said how great it is this station and how Canary Wharf was proud to have something like this, whats happened in Canary Wharf? People are not generally this polite to photographers here but keep it up Canary Wharf, I like this new you!!
Have a great Monday!

Location Information
Canary Wharf railway station is currently under construction on the Isle of Dogs in east London, as part of the Crossrail project. Construction began in May 2009 and the station is expected to open in 2018. During the project's development the station was named Isle of Dogs, before the current name was adopted. It will cost an estimated £500 million to build.
The station will be situated between Whitechapel and Custom House on the Crossrail line, and it will provide an interchange with Canary Wharf tube station on the London Underground and Poplar DLR station on the Docklands Light Railway.

The International Bomber Command Centre (IBCC) a memorial relating the historical impact of and on Bomber Command during the Second World War. Located on Canwick Hill, overlooking the city of Lincoln in Lincolnshire.
The city of Lincoln was selected for the location of the IBCC because 27 RAF Bomber Command stations (over a third of all Bomber Command stations) were based in the county during World War II. The large amount of airfields led to Lincolnshire being nicknamed the "Bomber County".
Located at Canwick Hill, the centre is just under two and half miles from RAF Waddington, which suffered the greatest losses of any Bomber Command station, and close to the former Avro aircraft production facility at Bracebridge Heath. A view of Lincoln Cathedral, a prominent landmark for aircrews, forms an important part of the vista from the centre of the Memorial Spire.
The aim of the IBCC is to tell the personal stories of members of the RAF Bomber Command, ground crew and civilians impacted by the bombing campaigns during the Second World War. The centre will also provide a comprehensive record of the role of Bomber Command's squadrons and to digitally display historical documentation and photographs relating to the activity of Bomber Command.
Within the grounds of the International Bomber Command Centre the Spire Memorial was erected on 10 May 2015. The memorial is a spire, reflecting the connection to Lincoln Cathedral. Created out of Corten A weathering steel, it is based on the dimensions of the wingspan of a Lancaster bomber, being 102ft high and 16ft at the base. The Spire was officially unveiled in October 2015 to an audience of 3,600 guests including 312 Bomber veterans.
The spire is encircled by walls carrying the names of all 57,871 men and women who gave their lives whilst serving in or supporting Bomber Command. This is the only place in the world where all these losses are memorialised.
