WE, you and I were all born forgive as a result of the crucifixion of God himself on the cross that took away the sins of the whole world. All we have to do is believe it, and put your Faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ. That my friends is REAL UNCONDITIONAL LOVE! YOU ARE LOVED. ❤️ ✝️ ❤️

Vlkolínec, situated in the centre of Slovakia, is a remarkably intact settlement of 45 buildings with the traditional features of a central European village. It is the region’s most complete group of these kinds of traditional log houses, often found in mountainous areas. Vlkolínec is small community part of the town of Ružomberok. It was historically referred to as a street of Ružomberok, yet is situated about 7 kilometres from the town itself, in the mountains of the northern part of central Slovakia. It is a remarkably well preserved rural medieval settlement featuring wooden architecture typical of hillside and mountain areas. Its layout, defined in part by the hilly terrain of the mountains of Veľká Fatra, features log houses situated on narrow lots with stables, barns and smaller outbuildings in the rear. A canalized stream flows through the centre of the village. The surrounding landscape is formed by narrow strips of fields and pastures with haylofts.
Vlkolínec, situated in the centre of Slovakia, is a remarkably intact settlement with the traditional features of a central European village. Vlkolínec has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1993, and is one of ten Slovak villages that have been given the status of a folk architecture reservations. Originally it was the settlement of loggers, shepherds and farmers.
Vlkolínec – in het midden van Slowakije – is een opmerkelijk intact gebleven nederzetting met gebouwen kenmerkend voor een centraal Europees dorp. De huizen worden gebouwd op stenen funderingen, de muren bedekt met klei en vervolgens wit of blauw geschilderd. Er zijn 47 van dit soort traditionele woningen in Vlkolínec en daarmee de meest volledige groep van dit soort traditionele Slowaakse houten huizen, die vaak voorkomen in bergachtige gebieden. Naast de traditionele woningen staan er in het plaatsje een winkel en school uit het einde van de 19e eeuw en de kerk van de Heilige Maagd Maria uit 1875, met een belfort gebouwd in 1770. Vlkolínec staat sinds 1993 op de Werelderfgoedlijst van UNESCO omdat het dorp, onaangetast is door de moderne tijd.

Gaudí evolucionó de un primer proyecto gótico hacia un estilo personal, orgánico, inspirado en las formas de la naturaleza: para librarse de los contrafuertes góticos, ideó el uso de columnas en forma de tronco de árbol, que permiten descargar el peso de las cubiertas directamente en el suelo, solución práctica a la vez que estética, ya que convierte el interior de las naves del templo en un espacio orgánico que semeja un bosque. En 1987 se inició la cimentación de las naves; para 1997 se completaron las bóvedas laterales y se empezó la central.
El templo tiene planta de cruz latina, con cinco naves de 90 metros de longitud, y crucero de tres naves de 60 metros; la nave central tiene un ancho de 15 metros, y 7,5 las laterales, haciendo un total de 45 metros; ancho del crucero, 30 metros. La altura es de 45 metros en las bóvedas de la nave central y 30 en las laterales, mientras que las del cimborio central llegarán a los 60 metros. Las naves laterales contendrán las cantorías para los coros. El ábside es lobulado, con deambulatorio entorno del presbiterio. El templo contará con un total de 36 columnas, que oscilarán entre 11,10 y 22,20 metros de altura, con bases de polígonos estrellados de varios lados según su ubicación: 6 (naves laterales), 8 (nave central), 10 (torres de los Evangelistas), 12 (torre de Jesús). Los materiales de construcción varían de la piedra de Montjuïc al granito, basalto o pórfido.
Las bóvedas son hiperbólicas, construidas con baldosas de mosaico veneciano. Gaudí utilizó la técnica de la bóveda catalana o bóveda tabicada, que consistía en la superposición de varias capas de ladrillos con argamasa. Las cubiertas son de forma piramidal, coronadas por una linterna y un farol. The church plan is that of a Latin cross with five aisles. The central nave vaults reach 45 meters while the side nave vaults reach 30 meters. The transept has 3 aisles. The columns are on a 7.5 meter grid however the columns of the apse, resting on del Villar's foundation, do not adhere to the grid, requiring a section of columns of the ambulatory to transition to the grid thus creating a horseshoe pattern to the layout of those columns. The crossing rests on the four central columns of porphyry supporting a great hyperboloid surrounded by two rings of 12 hyperboloids (currently under construction). The central vault reaches 60 meters. The apse will be capped by a hyperboloid vault reaching 75 meters. Gaudi intended that a visitor standing at the main entrance be able to see the vaults of the nave, crossing, and apse, thus the graduated increase in vault loftiness.
The columns of the interior are a unique Gaudi design. Besides branching to support their load, their ever-changing surfaces are the result of the intersection of various geometric forms. The simplest example is that of a square base evolving into an octagon as the column rises, then a 16-sided form, and eventually to a circle. This effect is the result of a three-dimensional intersection of helicoidal columns (for example a square cross-section column twisting clockwise and a similar one twisting counter-clockwise).

ENG The portal of Santa María La Real de Sangüesa (Navarra, Spain) is one of the most outstanding works of Spanish Romanesque art. Sculpted at the end of the 12th century. The statues-columns that support the three archivolts are one of the most beautiful elements of the portal, those on the left represent the Three Marys who symbolize the resurrection and those on the right Saint Peter, Saint Paul and Judas. The lower part of the cover is the work of the master Leodegarius.

El claustro, de exquisita hechura, está situado al norte del templo, tiene forma de cuadrilátero irregular y su construcción se inició a finales del siglo XII por la panda sur. Las pandas sur, oeste y norte están formadas por arcos de medio punto soportados por columnas pareadas o cuádruples. En total cuenta con 43 capiteles de los que los más antiguos, los del lado sur y primer tramo del lado oeste, son historiados con tallas de apreciable mérito, mientras que los más recientes presentan temas vegetales. La panda este es del siglo XVI, reedificada tras su derrumbe en estilo gótico y con poco interés artístico. Una sencilla puerta de arquivoltas de medio punto comunica el claustro con la iglesia.
La Colegiata de Santa Juliana, situada en Santillana de Mar (Cantabria, España), nace en el año 870 cuando unos monjes peregrinos traen los restos de Santa Juliana y fundan una pequeña ermita. En 1045 el rey Fernando I de Castilla le otorga importantes privilegios, y es en el siglo XII cuando los benedictinos que habitaban el monasterio son sustituidos por los monjes canónigos de San Agustín y el monasterio adquiere el rango de Colegiata y se inicia la edificación de la iglesia actual con tres naves y sus respectivos ábsides. A finales del siglo XII comienza la construcción del claustro, que se prolongó durante la siguiente centuria. Durante los siglos XVII y XVIII la Colegiata sufrió una profunda remodelación en algunas de sus estructuras. Su estilo es mayormente románico.

El municipio de Puebla de Sanabria es una de los más antiguos de la provincia de Zamora, cuenta con 1.523 habitantes (INE 2014) y destaca por el notable nivel de conservación de su patrimonio histórico artístico -reflejo de su antiguo poder civil, militar y eclesiástico- y por la cercanía del Parque natural del Lago de Sanabria. Aún conserva buena parte de las murallas que protegían la urbe, y pueden admirarse su magnífico castillo (segunda mitad del siglo XV), numerosas casonas solariegas y mansiones orladas con antiguos blasones que jalonan sus empinadas calles, y en la plaza Mayor, la iglesia parroquial de Nuestra Señora del Azogue (finales del siglo XII), la ermita de San Cayetano (barroca) y la Casa Consistorial (siglo XV), y en el recinto del arrabal un pequeño humilladero correspondiente a la capilla de San Pedro del siglo XVIII.

Luosto is a picturesque ski village with a surprisingly large number of accommodations. Although there are a few hotels, you'll mostly find cozy bungalows here. Luosto is nestled in the heart of Pyhä-Luosto National Park, surrounded by ancient forests, rugged gorges, and peat bogs. It's a unique piece of nature rarely seen in our part of Europe. Finnish Lapland is far to the north, so there's usually plenty of snow here. Luosto offers a stunning landscape for adventurous activities and the opportunity to enjoy the tranquility and beauty of the Finnish wilderness. Our plan is to climb the spectacular fell (mountain). As we step out of the car, it feels like nature here is in a deep winter sleep. Our hike begins at dawn in the remote hamlet of Ukko-Luostontien. In Lapland, the colors of the sky during sunrise and sunset can be very intense due to the low position of the sun on the horizon. The long twilight periods can create unique colors in the sky, including green hues, due to various scattering effects of sunlight. The trees gently bend under the weight of the snow.
We walk along the ridge of the fells of Ukko-Luosto, passing through the surrounding primeval forest. The summer path to the top is closed due to avalanche danger, so we continue our journey and attempt to reach the summit via the northern ridge of Ukko-Luosto. The path ascends steeply through the enchanting ancient forests, where the trees covered in crown snow look magical. The last section to the top of the mountain has snow too deep for us. The path winds its way to the top of Pikku-Luosto Fell. We sink in and have to crawl to the top. Snowshoes are definitely necessary here. In the impressive Ukko-Luosto Scenic Hut, we can take a break, warm up, and admire the magnificent view. It's terribly cold up here on the 514-meter-high mountain, partly due to the biting polar wind. The sun reaches its highest point on this short January day and shines beautifully just over the mountain's peak. There's also a solar halo visible, an optical phenomenon caused by the refraction, reflection, and scattering of light by ice crystals in the atmosphere. We thaw out a bit and rest before starting our return journey. Walking in the snow is exhausting. We take the same route back because we don't want to get stuck in deep snow and aim to be back in Luosto before dark. In total, we walked more than 18,000 steps, but we enjoyed this special place in Lapland. In Luosto, we treated ourselves to delicious reindeer jerky and panna cotta, while BieJee savored a reindeer burger.

Ons plan is om de spectaculaire fell (berg) te beklimmen. Wanneer we uit de auto stappen, lijkt de natuur hier in een diepe winterslaap te verkeren. Onze wandeling begint bij dageraad in het afgelegen gehucht Ukko-Luostontien. Het is verschrikkelijk koud hier op de 514 meter hoge berg, mede door de strakke poolwind. De zon bereikt zijn hoogste punt op deze korte januaridag en schijnt prachtig net over de top van de berg. Ook is er een zonnehalo te zien, een optisch fenomeen dat ontstaat door de breking, reflectie en verstrooiing van licht door ijskristallen in de atmosfeer. We ontdooien nog even en rusten uit voordat we beginnen aan onze terugreis. Wandelen in de sneeuw is zwaar. We nemen dezelfde route terug omdat we niet vast willen komen te zitten in de diepe sneeuw en we in ieder geval voor het donker terug willen zijn in Luosto. In totaal hebben we meer dan 18.000 stappen gezet, maar we hebben genoten van deze speciale plek in Lapland. In Luosto hebben we onszelf getrakteerd op heerlijke rendier-jerky en panna cotta, terwijl BieJee genoot van een rendierburger.

I love storms, violent weather, fierce and bold. I have since before I can remember. My mother told me that before I could walk, I would crawl to the window as quickly as I could upon the first crackle of lighting across a darkened, stormy sky. I would pull myself up on shaky legs, pull aside the curtains, and just watch, mouth open and eyes in wonder.
With each clap of thunder, each bolt of lighting and each slash of rain across the window, I would smile, bounce up and down on wobbly, little legs, point a tiny finger at the heavens and coo and speak in baby jabberwocky talk.
She said at first she feared for my safety, and would pull me away from the windows. But I would howl and cry and struggle to get back when she did. Eventually, she said, she recognized I was safe and secure as storms held no danger for me; that I was at home with them and seemed to feel particularly alive in their embrace.
She, however, would retreat to her chair in the closet to read, smoke cigarettes and just ride them out (she still did this until she could no longer get out of bed. Even when she was 80, when a storm blew in I'd call and say,
"Mom, you in the closet?"
"Damn right, you know I am," she'd reply with a smile in her voice).
Dad would sit in his chair, smoking his pipe, and read the paper as if nothing was happening, while I was free to go to the window, or out on the porch as I got older, and be one with the storm.

This is Sophie. She is awesome! She started pursuing her modelling career just a couple of months ago, and she is a natural! She loves monkeys, all 3 Jackass movies, and now knows how to plank! (She did some planking for the first time! So epic! haha) She has a great personality and we had a great time shooting! Jesus came to bring spiritual LIFE to the spiritually dead and set the captives FREE! FREE from RELIGION, ERROR and outright LIES, so WE might serve THE LIVING GOD! In SPIRIT and in TRUTH!
So you'll KNOW, and not think you're to bad for God to love. The Christian LIFE isn't about how good WE are, because NONE of us are! It's about how GOOD JESUS IS! Because JESUS LOVES US, so much he died in our place and took the punishment for all of our sins on himself. The wages of sin is DEATH, and Jesus took the death WE so richly deserved for us and died in our place. The good news is, there's no more punishment for sin left. WE, you and I were all born forgive as a result of the crucifixion of God himself on the cross that took away the sins of the whole world. All we have to do is believe it, and put your Faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ. That my friends is REAL UNCONDITIONAL LOVE! YOU ARE LOVED. ❤️ ✝️ ❤️
