Transport for London have allowed the signage at Bond Street station to be renamed as part of the activities around London Fashion Week.
However, it certainly caused a stir amongst the passengers on the Central Line train I took through the station this morning. None of them were aware of the change, and a few were uncertain as to exactly where they were! I went back later and took a few shots.
The colour is apparently 'knight blue,' described by Chief Creative Officer Daniel Lee as one of "Burberry’s new brand colours.” The colour scheme change affects all three lines at the station - Elizabeth, Central and Jubilee, but not completely. Whilst platform and guide signs around the corridors have changed, the signs on the walls opposite platforms, beyond the rails, still have their original Bond Street signs - clearly too difficult to change just for a week!
And on Oxford Street, the (relatively) modern entrance into the station via the shopping complex retains its Bond Street Station label and colour scheme, although the older entrance just to the east is in this temporary new scheme (I didn't look at the Elizabeth Line entrance to see whether it has been modified or not).
Here is my entry for SHIPtember, built in eight days. I decided to not do a generic spaceship but rather something special and unique from my last three SHIPs, and so I made my own original concept (which was a first for SHIPtember) and then I started, and after eight days of building I'm done, and I think it looks quite accurate to what I originally envisioned. It's only a little over 100 studs long, but it's quite massive. I will upload a swoosh (one hand!) and edit and other things later, like the light in the captain's cabin. Kai NRG, Isaac Snyder, and yours truly took inspiration from Ninjago vehicles for our SHIPs this year; which might be hard to see here, but perhaps you'll spot some ghosts, and the generally colourscheme was chosen from there. I'm happy with this model, some parts more than others, and hope you enjoy seeing it too!
Arrived today at Lelystad Airport on a Truck from Germany. Is a new customer for the Lelystad plant of Satys where the Heli wil get a total make over. I think the heli will get the colourscheme of Air Greenland (Red with white accents)

Go North East's unallocated "Green Arrow" branded ADL Dart SLF 5/ADL Enviro 200MMC 5495 (NK69 FBG) is pictured here at the Metrocentre Coach Park, Gateshead, prior to entering service at Go North East. 26/09/19
The region’s largest bus company, Go North East, has invested £1.8 million in 11 brand-new, state of the art, environmentally friendly buses for its popular Green Arrow services.
The buses build on the operator’s existing investment, which has already seen 170 low-emission buses join the fleet in recent years, and a total of £12 million set to be invested in further better buses over the next 12 months.
The new Green Arrow buses, which were built in the north at the Scarborough factory of Alexander Dennis, will be rolled out over the next fortnight onto the company’s 97 route which serves Newcastle, Gateshead, Bensham, Lobley Hill, Whickham, Swalwell and intu Metrocentre with buses running up to every 15 minutes.
With a striking green livery, the buses are packed full of creature comforts and the latest technology including comfortable luxury seating with mobile phone holders, free Wi-Fi, media tables featuring wireless charging pads and at-seat USB charging points. There is also no need to worry about missing your stop, as the buses are fitted with next stop audio and visual passenger information systems.
The seats and interior colourscheme have been re-designed by design agency Creating Desire.
Was well pleased when young, Squid showed me this on his phone, he did at Oners shop.. but more pleased when he upped it to his stream..

Really pleased with how well each of the colours printed. My fave is the orange - the dots remind me of toffee-apples. Others prefer the avocado...

Splash of colour!
SP-LNO was formerly VQ-BAI and was the 3rd E-Jet painted in the yellow colourscheme of Saratov Airlines, yet with Ivolga titles as the airline rebranded itself in the aftermath of the An-148 crash. This airliner never entered service with the Russian airline though, as Ivolga folded just after the delivery in May 2018.
The frame had also briefly sported the livery of VIM Airlines before that, yet it had not been taken up either.
I cant say how much I'm totally stunned by the Piece Merc did.
I just gave him a recipe say, He took that and then added a sprinkling of his own unique flavour. That gives this piece its traditional graffiti feel and funk. With a dope fill, colourscheme, blocking, shines, He cooked up a true graffiti burner.
Its great to see pieces from sketches by other writers, esp when its done this good..Love it..
Nice one Merc, Props!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Salt Pepper Nutmeg interior with books and flowers at Roseville, NSW. We had coffee and cake here on the weekend before the cinema to see 'The Country Doctor' (wonderful): I do love a place that has books - these were for sale @ $5 each. Eclectic and unique; there were lots of other quirky touches. I look forward to going back to Salt Pepper Nutmeg to eat.

A few days ago I was bored and decided make some figs, here's what I came up with.
I've made these guys in a genre/colourscheme that I've come to call "Cartoon Future," some popular examples of this genre are Nexo Knights and Overwatch.
Inspired by this (somehow): link
3 Royal Air Force Avro Vulcan bomber aircraft flying in formation. In the original white colour scheme which they carried from 1956 until the mid 1960s.
Well, here we go. Space.
Wanted to try something different, and this is the end result, after a week of WIPs. Dodgy angles galore, wonky and flowing. I'm very happy with how it came out.
My inspirations were:
-Space Battleship Yamato (Concept art from a fighter was this colour scheme and even general shape, but that changed as the design evolved.)
-Homeworld (Wonky angles and the general colourscheme.)
-Assorted other builders and concept art floating around the interwebs.
So yeah, tell me what you think.
Melaleuca flower, vivid color: close up
This was captured by accident in 'vivid color' - a camera option I haven't really explored yet - but I like it!
Melaleuca are a plant genus in the Myrtaceae family containing the paperbarks (which have the best bark, see ['Bark on the Paperbark, a closeup'].

The full Coral Limited Color Palette uses all four of the following colors (with no black, no white): Goldenrod (#E0B138), Midnight Blue (#002E54), Coral (#FA7268 – ASE Color of the Year hex code), Gray (#D9D9D6). I really didn't expect to like this colour scheme as much as I do! Lots of fabulous entries that I've seen so far too.

The ceremonial entrance to the Ship. We hoi poloi go to the tradesmen's entrance on the port side.
HMS Victory is a 104-gun first-rate ship of the line of the Royal Navy, ordered in 1758, laid down in 1759 and launched in 1765. She is best known for her role as Lord Nelson's flagship at the Battle of Trafalgar on 21 October 1805. Wikipedia
She looks nude without her masts but rot required their replacement. A Victorian farthing was found under the central mast that had been placed there at the time of their last overhaul in the 1860s. As the damage was far more than had been anticipated it is now thought she won't be 'ship shape' again until 2023. Her newly repainted hull takes some getting used to but her colourscheme is now thought to resemble more that used in Nelson's day. I'm sure he'd recognise her no matter what colour she was painted.
She is a 'must see' for every child, young or old, whoever heard the brave tales of Admiral Lord Nelson and dreamt of life aboard a Royal Navy warship of the Napoloeonic War. Even if you didn't, she's a fantastic destination for a day out. The tickets last a year so, despite being expensive, they are worth every penny.
At the library: "It had a red cover"
This is the kind of helpful hint all librarians are given when people are looking for a specific book. I thought it was neat how the librarians at my local library made it into a whole display!
