Rusted cogs - part of what looks like a log-splitter driven by pulleys and belts, originally powered by a steam engine I would think.

5/2024 - After returning to the base station I smelled coal smoke. Cog Railway #9 was being tested before the start of the regular season. #9 is a 1908 ALCO Manchester product.

Cog Hill Golf course hosts a number of national championships including the BMW and Western Open. The course was built on an old farm in 1927 and includes this old barn which was painted with the Cog Hill identity.
