These are the wooden cogs and wheels that interlink, and make the sails on the Lacey Green Smock Windmill rotate. They are huge and very impressive.

After a summer of dsissapointing steam pictures I decided to give it one more go.

I went to Cogload Junction this morning to see what I could come up with.

Having remembered my camera Pete, I set up the shot hoping for clouds of billowing steam and smoke as she rounded the corner from Westbury.

No steam on this occasion but evidence of her working hard with a trail of grey smoke.

Looking good in the morning sunlight is 60009 running 15 mins late with the 0800 Bristol to Kingswear at Cogload Junction.

Perfect for any home this moving décor piece is sure to impress!

Way to big for Macro Mondays theme of Cogwheel but still a dang cool cog...

Cogs of my wristwatch with one of my trusty extension tubes seemed a good opportunity for FF this week.

My husband just blew the third crankshaft, in seven years, on our 1925ish Model T Depot Hack. While he worked on repairs I started taking pictures. He dug out old cogs to make things easier for me. But in the end I did take some pictures of the engine he's repairing as well.
