Sunday Sketch at the Coffee Shop

This is a wonderful coffee shop that is located in downtown Chattanooga. It is one of my favorite places to go now. You can watch all types of people, you can sit and talk and eat a light dinner if you like all while drinking a wonderful cup of coffee.

A group photo of the lovely team at Gloria Jean's. They actually remembered my name when i visited it a second time!

Its about 60cm tall and used for steaming kaya, a sweet, coconut jam.

Makes me depressed just looking at this.

My favorite goofy girls. My sister, who will be leaving for her new fancy job in D.C., and my little J Bird.

There were "coffeeshops" (places where you can smoke weed) in Rotterdam. It's legal in the whole country, not just Amsterdam.

The Bulldog Coffeeshop in the Red Light district of Amsterdam.

And they are good quality too, croissants and baguegettes, all the French food, without the prices

Now that I'm doing marketing for Harbour Coffee, I'm much more conscious about the decor and environment of coffeeshops.

Square One, in Lancaster, recently remodeled, using some visual techniques we have been using for a while at the Harbour. It looks nice.

I was really amused by this "Mexican Farmhouse Food" sign, since the place did not at all speak authenticity to me. Then I was even more amused that it was called "Café Cappuccino", that it said "Mexican Farmhouse Food" but was called "Café Cappuccino". Only after I took the picture and looked at it closer did I realize it was actually "Café Campesino", which means "Farmer", which actually makes sense. So now I feel a bit foolish. It still totally doesn't look farm-like at all, though. :P

$6 cappuccinos sold alongside Jameson. A modern coffeeshop chain that sells locally roasted beans, an ever-changing variety of beans displayed in glass jars on top of the sandwiches/cakes display case. A separate smoking room equipped with board games.

Here's Groupie relaxing outside the Easy Times coffeeshop in Amsterdam.
