We were rather too early to take coffee in the pretty little Atherton Tableland town of Yungaburra. All of the shops and centre of town were in this mould. A lovely town to visit.
Notice the COVID QR check in on the door. As Queensland tourist spots open up over the next two months, people in towns like this will need to ensure they are ready for an influx of lockdown weary southerners, some bearing gifts we do not want. Being vaccinated, continuing to check in and also wearing masks where social,distancing is not possible will be very important.
Mr Chiots and I love a good cup of coffee and we're always trying to find great coffee while we're out and about. Many coffee shops don't make good coffee because they don't have real baristas employed. Espresso Bueno in VT is not like this, their coffee was fantastic. The espresso was expertly brewed and the latte even came with some great flair! If you're driving through Barre and looking for a good cup of coffee I'd recommend stopping here!
This young lady had a vision of an art gallery and coffee shop and did a lot of the buildout herself. On this day she gave me some time to photograph her.
