We had a good number of people at coffee morning, which was lovely - some folks we haven't seen for ages. I had to leave early, to go to help look after Bea, as James was working and Bethan was feeling a bit yuk. We had a good time playing board games - once Bea had done some of her homework! Outfoxed was fun, and quite easy to pick up, and King of Tokyo was also fun, but much more complicated - lots of brain power required! Back at home I did a bit of work on the CHEQS Magazine.
It was interesting driving the courtesy car today, as it's got manual gears and we've got used to an automatic car. It surprised me how quickly I got used to the gears again though - I guess if you listen to the car, it reminds you what you need to do, and also old muscle memory kicks in again after a while.

Taken at home on a rainy afternoon, had the lights turned off in the house so the subject's only source of light is from the back. I used aperture priority mode F/5.6 and ISO 200. I used exposure compensation +2 stops. With so many rainy days recently my idea was to create a teddy bear's picnic for a rainy day looking out into the garden.
I'm working 2-10 today so spent all morning drinking coffee and catching up on some recorded TV - what an exciting life I lead!
I could have gone out for a drive and shot some scenery as the weather looks nice out but I was feeling lazy!
Now time to get dressed and go to work for a bit of retailing!
