L to R - Merlin, Phil and Andrew were enjoying their morning coffee when I stopped to ask if I could take their photograph. They readily agreed and said they meet here regularly for coffee away from the city centre. They find it was more pleasant to sit outside and the coffee was good and reasonable. They kindly treated me to a coffee and after a lively conversation I left them to continue my walk.
For Macmillan - World's Biggest Coffee Morning 2009. Cancer touches the lives of so many people and Macmillan do a wonderful job.
My friend's partner had cancer and the support they received from Macmillan was invaluable. He started volunteering for Macmillan once well enough and now works full time for them, supporting other people through this horrid disease.

Made for the MacMillan World's biggest coffee morning. I'm so grateful for the work that they do and for the fact that that my Mum and Grandmother are still here to have a special bond with my daughter.
The 'Boutique Fashions' displayed six different outfits like delightful snippits of Sindy's entire wardrobe. Everything from lingerie to equestrian wear.
'Coffee Morning' (44078) was a dress, that gave the impression of a jumper and skirt, sold with white sandals.

Sindy: This is soooo comfy!
Me: It looks tremendously snug.
Sindy: I have a total comfycrush on it.
Me: Comfycush? Isn't that a shoe?
Sindy: Crush my dear old girl. Comfy-Crush.
Me: Ah.... I'm not that old. You were mumbling.
Sindy: Older than me, but who's counting hahahaha! Besides, the expression "old girl" was said with affection.
Me: And you can be a brat. I say that with great affection.
Sindy: Ha ha! Good un! I know you love me. Tea?
Me: Why certainly! If my gammy ol' legs can carry me.
Sindy: Psht!

The title of her talks for groups and clubs. if we all could look so great at the age of ##### (well can't give the age of a lady away). suffice to say that she also gives talks on her part in the Dunkirk evacuation.
Agosto se deja. Se sabe el último peldaño estival y se pasea descalzo por los rincones de luz.
Captar sus momentos de calma me apasiona. 🌿💚
I was lucky enough to have my morning coffee sitting in a "tent" in the kitchen with my three year old son ("no mummy, i'm not Calum today, i'm Diplodocus") and several dinosaurs peeking out from a "castle".
Many other men and women have no chance to see their children and grandchildren grow up. My Father-in-Law died of bowel cancer in 2000 and never even knew his son would have a wife, much less got to see his grandchildren.
This is for the Macmillan World's Biggest Coffee Morning 2009.

Explored! Thank you.
Winter is over, finally. The plants and flowers find homes strewn about the deck, throughout the garden, and around the house. The greenhouse feels quiet. The dirt and sand crunch with each footfall and I like it. Though it's time to clean windows and sweep up the winter debris, there's a certain peacefulness during this interim.
Have a beautiful day, friends, xo.
Well, the coffee morning went rather well! Over £790 raised for support for those in need in and around Ukraine, and a huge number of people enjoying a good old natter and some rather lovely cakes.
I went to Ciren to do the shopping this afternoon, but didn't really need very much. I was glad I went, though, as I bumped into two different couple from the villages, and had a good catch up with them both.
Bethan has tested positive for Covid this morning. Not a great surprise, after Center Parcs - hopefully she'll not get it too badly, having been triple vaxed. Also the other two of the three of us dong the twice daily injections for someone in the village have got bugs, one a cold and one Covid. I tested negative, but wore a mask while visiting today.
Better news on the oil front - I am an idiot! 😆 Our oil hasn't gone missing, I just looked rather than dipped. When I rang a very helpful emergency chap from the company who put the tank in for the previous owner, he suggested I actually dip it to see the level - and it was as it should be. Duh! So it's actually a boiler issue. I was so relieved, I don't really mind about the cold. Mike lit another fire this evening, and I've been on the computer upstairs with several layers and a warm fleecy jacket on.
Social distancing in action, coffee and a chat.
A great plan but something of a problem for the hard of hearing!
WEEK 12 2020
Threshold moment has been chosen as today's topic for the Our Daily Challenge group.
I am going to the coffee morning at St Andrew's Church, the doors open at the touch of a button which is out of sight on the left.
I was pleased to find the sunglasses which I thought I'd lost - they were in the hood of the buggy I used for one of the grandchildren last Friday. Mike & I cycled to Fairford for a few errands, and popped into the coffee morning (Talking Cafe) which is run by Working for Wellbeing. We had a chat to a few people we knew, then went on our way - to collect our eggs from the farm at Whelford. It was good to be on the bikes again.
From lunchtime onwards, Mike was avidly watching all the happenings at Westminster - Sajid Javid's very blunt and well-phrased resignation speech in the House of Commons, the rapidly lengthening list of government ministers who have resigned in protest at Boris Johnson's continuation in the role of Prime Minister (because of his lack of honesty, integrity, openness etc. over various issues in recent months amongst other things).
I, meanwhile, did some gardening and collected a second-hand glass-fronted cupboard for some of my Pelham puppets.
This is what I like about my city of Norwich. People are seem happy and relax.
I enjoy taking photo specially when I see people with smile and laughter. Its lighten up heart and make the world feel so friendly.
That 's how it should be right??
