these are impressions from the codec&flexor "killermachine" release party at club watergate, berlin in 2006.
It's Children In Need Day in 2004 and CHR is running a collection for the BBC Children In Need appeal in the foyer of St Richard's Hospital in Chichester.
The costume is Richard the Lion who is the mascot of St Richard's Hospital. Inside it (I think) is Peter Ruddick.
We set up a mobile studio in the reception area and broadcast live from there using a pair of telephone codecs.
Chichester Hospital Radio will celebrate it's 40th Anniversary in 2012 and this image is part of a collection gathered over the years.
From this archive we can look back and discover many familiar faces that are still with the association, all be it they are a little older, and a few absent friends that are sadly no longer with us.

Talked about codec selection today at the meeting. The politics at these meetings drive me insane.
After the meeting I got to take another long walk around the town and found some cool stuff—a neat dance poster, a rad laundromat, and several condom dispensers (?).
And then I ate delicious gnocchi with beef and had an enormous macaron for dessert. Wonderful.

The base colours looked a real mess. It was painted with codec grey and washed with dark green ink. Fortunately some careful shading with fortress grey really bought the clothing together
