Con Proximidad nos proponemos mostrar proyectos que vinculan al arte
con los Derechos Humanos, hacer visibles los procesos, caminos

vinculadas a estas temticas. La proximidad es el grado de cercana
entre dos formas y las tensiones existentes entre ellas. Este proyecto
es un acercamiento a los modos de producir y los procesos realizados
en ciertas piezas, haciendo hincapi en los procesos, las tensiones y
cercanas existentes entre las obras convocadas.

Curada por el crtico de arte Manuel Romero, La utopa transgresora
recoge un conjunto de obras que revelan hechos de la vida de la que
fue en Espaa Premio Nacional de Fotografa 2005. El trabajo que
realiza Ouka Leele derrocha emocin y lirismo, al tiempo que recupera
la memoria familiar y adolescente cargada de nostalgia fetichista. En
el conjunto de obras que figuran en esta exposicin podemos ver una
clara dicotoma entre espiritualidad y carnalidad.

Rdio Digital Mundial e a Comunicao Social no sculo XXI
Durante ms de dos aos, un grupo de investigadores viene
desarrollando un estudio con el objetivo de subsidiar al gobierno
Brasilero, Radiodifusores y oyentes sobre las posibilidades
socio-tecnolgicas que el estndar DRM de radio digital puede
ofrecer para la comunicacin social. Varios documentos fueron
producidos en este periodo, todos publicados en Internet, sealando
la inmensa superioridad tcnica de DRM. Se trata, resumidamente
(carta de lanzamiento), de un estndar abierto, regulado por la ITU,
que funciona en todas las bandas de frecuencia, que poseen el mismo
codec de audio del Sistema Brasilero de TV Digital, optimiza el uso
del espectro, funciona en baja potencia y consume mucho menos
energa. Pensado para ser un estndar de global inters pblico,
el DRM es el favorito de las emisoras educativas y estatales de varios
pases, y de a poco va conquistando nuevos mercados, combinando
desarrollo econmico y social.

Jugada a 3 bandas en Madrid y Barcelona
La internacionalizacin de las propuestas expositivas y la relacin
entre Madrid y Barcelona, principales leitmotivs de la tercera
edicin Ja3b 2013 potencia las actividades en las galeras y en
espacios asociados para fomentar la visita a las exposiciones a lo
largo de sus siete semanas de duracin.
La tercera edicin de Jugada a 3 bandas (Ja3b), proyecto ideado para
conectar galeras de arte + comisarios + artistas, se celebrar de
forma simultnea en Madrid y Barcelona, inaugurando el sbado 6 de
abril en la primera, y una semana despus, el viernes 12 de abril, en
la Ciudad Condal. Un total de 30 galeras participarn en Ja3b 2013,
con propuestas expositivas que tienden puentes y conexiones entre
ambas ciudades, o apuestan por una clara apertura internacional.

Photograph taken at an altitude of Zero metres at 19:33pm on Thursday 25th May 2023 around sunset at Patricia Bay , a body of salt water that extends East from the Saanich Inlet and forms part of the North Saanich shoreline in the District of North Saanich in British Columbia. It features a beautiful park which is at the south end of the Scoter Trail. Formerly known as Union Bay, the bay was named after Princess Patricia of Connaught, daughter of the Duke of Connaught who was Governor General in 1912.
The park has ties to transportation and the waterfront, and their pivotal role in the development of North Saanich. It is also tied to the development of the Victoria International Airport and military aviation efforts during the Second World War. In 1937, the airport was developed as one of six Royal Canadian Air Force Station training facilities on Vancouver Island.
The land was originally settled by the Tseycum First Nation (Union Bay Indian Reserve No.4) , one of four Saanich villages of Southern Vancouver Island in the area and part of the Northern Straits Coast Salish language group.
In the Sencoten langauge Tseycum is spelled Wsikem and means Land of Clay. The languages spoken include Lkwungen, Malchosen, Semiahmoo, SENĆOŦEN andT’Sou-ke and in 2023 the Chief is Tanya Jimmy, who was elected in July 2019. The Tseycum people have five reserves located at:
Bare Island 9, Goldstream 13, Pender Island 8, Saturna Island 7 and Union Bay 4.

When I first opened the box containing the Grado Labs GW100 headphones, one word came to mind: “Cheap”. The cans didn’t look or feel like the classy Grado RS1i and RS1e, which I once owned, or the GS1000e that are still beloved and possessed. But after connecting to Google Pixel 2 XL (and later the 3 XL), via Bluetooth, I exclaimed: “Priceless”. The first offering in the company’s “Wireless Series” rises to an audiophile class unmatched by most competing cans; I prefer the GW100 to the GS1000e, which cost four times more to buy. Four words best describe the experience listening to music of any genre: Natural. Immersive. Balanced. Authentic.
The GW100 are unique among wireless headphones by design: They are open-back like Grado’s wired models, but they are unlike all other major manufacturers’ wireless cans, which typically cover the ears and/or impose oppressively confining noise cancellation. I understand that commuters on noisy trains or travelers on rumbling airplanes might want NC, but the feature creates a cone of silence that is very unnatural. By comparison, the GW100’s open-air design allows music to expand, while—I must concede—letting in background noise going on about you.
For my testing, I streamed 1411 kbps FLAC (Free Lossless Audio Codec) from Tidal. I would describe the aural quality connected to the Pixel 2 XL as bright and punchy. Later, in Android Pie Developer Options, I manually switched from System Default to aptX audio and the change drew out the highs and lows, and balance between them, while increasing detail and ever-so-slightly the timbre. Whether bug or by design, Android 9 returns to default settings when the headphones disconnect, requiring manual change when reconnecting. It’s a nuisance task worth the trouble.
Instruments obscured by other headphones are revealed by these cans, which exceptionally expose detail, such as vocal nuances or tap of drum cymbals. Spectacular soundstage, bright highs, and warm mids are defining acoustic characteristics. Open-back headphones typically give the most realistic soundstage. I would describe the aural quality as airy, although the GW100 are more contained than the aforementioned other Grados. That quality makes them the better choice for modern genres like dance, pop, punk, rap, or rock. Bass also is more pronounced but nowhere oppressive. Buyers wanting thumping lows should look to Beats or Sony, instead.

This is an experiment. It is my second Flickr video. The Flickr uploader did not recognise mpg filetype, and I had to revert to the basic uploader. Video is a jungle, and understanding how the codecs work remains (for me) a mystery. The first go used the native 640x480 of my Canon S3 camera, and was 70Mb. This version uses a reduced frame size of 320x240 and Mpeg1 settings. This yields 14.7Mb, but means resolution is not so good if you choose the full screen option.
I have also added a still frame at the beginning that looks better in the photostream, and when viewing as a slideshow. (The slideshow routes you to the basic picture page before running the video).

My first time-lapse. 270 shots, spaced 60 seconds (four and a half hours). Batch-converted and resized from RAW file format to 1080p JPG using DigiKam. Converted to video using ffmpeg and the libx264 codec.
The photographs were taken with a Canon EOS 450D camera on a tripod and EF-S 55-250 mm lens. Fully manual mode. IS off.
In my opinion the clouds move too fast. Maybe a photo every 20 seconds next time.

So, i'm thinking that when the zoom is close there is no light, well technically correct, but the accuracy of film speed and the shutter at a reasonable level(although not actually acceptable however this is not the most athletic action) leads me to believe the compressor codec is operating numerically too much not realising the significance of the pixels making a unique collective picture not merely by position but exacting colour level.
The degradation of the clarity is not mere jpeg tables but the program acting on "high percentage similarity by quantity of a colour and then also level" and attempting to "alias to as much as possible" to produce as close as possible to the same pixel colour throughout each pixel in the image for easy storage !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The jpeg quantizer algorithm finds a large majority of the colours and their levels of the pixels in the image similar and with a small remainder as difference, and because the subject the performer is a small quantity of the picture the performer is numerically insignificant, so it embezzles the picture pixel colour levels and rewrites them to similar , just alike an embezzler rewriting the account books !!!!!!
The above image with a large quantity of fire is much more variant in colour levels than the other pictures, so it more clear and focused, the other pictures have very little colour variation and show much more severe "alias" near colours !!!!!!!!!!
Image quality setting is "large file size - high quality" in the camera.
The pictures were taken on zooming at 80 meters thereabout late afternoon in overcast weather.

CIUDAD OBREGÓN, SONORA, ENERO 23 DE 2013.- Con el objetivo de crear oportunidades de empleo para miles de sonorenses de Cajeme y el Sur del Estado, el Gobernador Guillermo Padrés anunció la inversión de 60 millones de pesos para terminar y poner en marcha este mismo año el Recinto Fiscalizado Estratégico de Sonora (REFIESON).
El mandatario estatal participó en una reunión junto a líderes empresariales de Cajeme, el Secretario de Economía, Moisés Gómez Reyna y el Secretario de Hacienda, Carlos Villalobos Organista en donde se llegó al acuerdo necesario para terminar tanto el REFIESON como el Parque Tecnológico de Manufactura Avanzada.
“El Gobierno del Estado a lo largo de sus tres años le ha invertido un poquito más de 200 millones de pesos adicionales a los que tenía presupuestado ese parte y ahora hay que buscar los mecanismos, estrategias y acuerdos necesarias para ver qué empresas vamos a invitar a que se establezcan aquí”, señaló.

Moisés Gómez Reyna, Secretario de Economía, comentó la importancia de contar con las opciones de un Recinto Fiscalizado y un Parque de Manufactura a la vez pues hay más oportunidades de atracción de inversiones.
Agregó además que hay dos empresas listas para establecerse en el REFIESON en cuanto este sea terminado y cuando menos otras dos con la que se están negociando los mejores términos para establecerse en Sonora.
Carlos Villalobos Organista, Secretario de Hacienda, explicó que el presupuesto original del REFIESON era de 200 millones de pesos, sin embargo, tan solo entre 2009 y 2010 se invirtieron 260 millones de pesos, el siguiente año 60 millones de pesos más y en la última fase se invertirá una cantidad similar para sumar casi 400 millones de pesos.
Como parte de su gira de trabajo, el Gobernador Padrés acudió a una entrevista radiofónica en el programa de noticias de La Kaliente, 92.9, en donde platicó de los proyectos para Sonora y específicamente de Cajeme.
En Cajeme, detalló, tan sólo en el 2012 se crearon 7 mil nuevos empleos y 13 mil en lo que va de la administración, que se suman a los 94 mil creados en toda la entidad.
Además se ha realizado obra pública como nunca antes, una inversión sin precedentes en carreteras y por supuesto el proyecto de gas natural que traerá miles de empleos.
El Gobernador aprovechó su participación en el programa para externar su apoyo a los Yaquis de Obregón que se encuentran participando en la serie de campeonato de la Liga Mexicana del Pacifico en busca de representar a México en la Serie del Caribe Hermosillo 2013.

Initial impression is that the two are nearly identical. The original file was 5.22 MB and was shot with a D300 from a ferry using a 70-300 VR lens at F11 and ISO 200.
Deeper inspection shows a clear reduction in detail on the Webp file - you can see in the JPG that there's a loss in most of the details along the wooden shingles and in a few other places. On the flip side, the sky is much smoother with no jpg artifacts munging up the blue gradient.
The Webp file is 332KB and the JPG file is 847KB at a full 4288 x 2848 size. That's a 60% savings in size for Webp.
