Whose silk is this?

On the other side of this leaf is a sturdy cocoon, but whether that is an insect cocoon or a spider's egg sac, I do not know.

Strapped in an Alien Cocoon

The air... where is the air? The room is sucking it out. It’s blue. It’s cold. It’s the color of drowning.

No... no, no, no. Don't touch me! Get it off! The linen... it’s shrinking! It’s sewing my skin together! I can’t... I can’t expand my chest!

WAKE UP! MOVE! DAMN IT, MOVE! My hands! They’ve cut off my hands! Why can’t I reach the glass?! SOMEBODY HELP ME!

Can’t breathe. Can’t breathe. Can’t breathe. It’s tight. It’s a snake. It’s crushing my ribs. Tastes like copper... tastes like blood.

BREAK! SHATTER! Why is there no sound?! I’m screaming my throat raw but the silence is eating me alive! BK! KATCHA!

No! Don’t sleep! The needle... the ice! It’s killing the pilot! If I close my eyes, I unspool! I fall apart! Stay awake, you coward! STAY AWAKE!

Spinning. Everything is spinning. The floor is gone. The gravity is wrong. I’m falling up! I’m falling into the black hole!

LIES! That’s not real! That’s a ghost! My mind is snapping! I’m looking at a memory but I’m standing in a grave!

Please... not like this. Not in a box. I don’t want to be a mummy. I don’t want to be nothing. I’m forgetting my name... I’m forgetting...

It’s a tomb. It’s a stone tomb. And the lid is sealed. Nobody is coming. Nobody is coming.

Heart is a bomb. Tick... tick... BOOM. It’s going to burst! My chest is ripping open! MAKE IT STOP!

God... help me.

Capullo

Cocoon

Again ... haha ...again I forgot to post one of the photos that I had watered everywhere. Well ... never too late, so I leave you with "Cocoon", an image where I include one of the most beautiful animals I've seen, and luckily I can still see here in Panama.

I chose this butterfly for a few reasons, the first is because I managed to get a photo of it quite some time, and had not given good use (main reason), secondly, they look super beautiful, and third it seems interesting the common name it has ... "Morpho" which can be understood as "changing". Based on this, and the memories that I have of monarch butterflies in those National Geographic videos where thousands of them flit between trees in the forest, I wanted to wrap someone in the middle of this blue splendor.

Almost like a cocoon, in a state of transition, I wrapped my model in blue fabric and wanted to soak him in a state of transition, which is involved in nature, carried away by them.

I hope you like the image as much as me, and if so, tomorrow we read with the photo itself corresponds to the week ...;)

Inside the Cocoon Nebula is a newly developing cluster of stars. Cataloged as IC 5146, the beautiful nebula is nearly 15 light-years wide, located some 4,000 light years away toward the northern constellation Cygnus. Like other star forming regions, it stands out in red, glowing, hydrogen gas excited by young, hot stars and blue, dust-reflected starlight at the edge of an otherwise invisible molecular cloud. In fact, the bright star near the center of this nebula is likely only a few hundred thousand years old, powering the nebular glow as it clears out a cavity in the molecular cloud's star forming dust and gas. This exceptionally deep color view of the Cocoon Nebula traces tantalizing features within and surrounding the dusty stellar nursery. [Text adapted from APOD]

I found this small spot behind giant tall ferns and thought of doing this simple concept with the tulle I brought with me. This only took me a few minutes to shoot since it was just beside the trail up the mountain. I find the most random locations like this and it triggers inspiration in me to create something with the space that I discovered. Experiencing new things and going places you have never been before can be a very powerful inspiration for everybody so I suggest to everyone to never stop exploring, take the trail that most people don't take and if you do you might be surprised at what you might discover with yourself. It is human nature to wander, don't be bound in your seat and stay in a single place forever. Go out there and see the world. It doesn't have to be grand, you can always start small and just go outside to walk a little, it could be at the park or up a mountain.

I'm really struggling to create anything I want to lately. Being so restricted with time, and my inability to travel to different locations has resulted in feeling stale and in some way I'm feeling resentment towards photography. I really can't wait until I'm able to break out of this. Until all the things holding me back are finally non-existent and I can create freely.

These butterflies had just emerged from their cocoons and hung there for ages before finally flying off.

Keep yourself warm in the cold time

I loved that movie... and I love these acceptions of the word...

Cocoon: A safe, quiet place.

To cocoon: To protect someone or something from pain or unpleasantness.

May all of you find a cocoon wherever you want it. And may all of you allow your inner being to cocoon you. :) Have a beautiful day you all!
