Tiger Cocoon is a macro photograph of a leaf on a light box. The image was inverted, converted to BW and fused with a LAB color space processed version, then flipped vertically and blended using the blend mode feature in Photoshop.

These peaks and valleys are beginning to take their toll

There is lighting in the clouds in search of prey

The clouds will break and the rainfall will begin

Cracks in the chrysalis spread out like tiny snakes
That hiss a litany of rumors and mistakes
But I'm afraid their cause is fraught with futility
There is nothing more that they can take from me
Between the columns of Sint Janskerk in Schiedam, Dutch artist Florentijn Hofman created Stadscocon (City Cocoon).
The artwork stands on historic ground in the church nave, which was finished in 1425. Organised by Stedelijk Museum Schiedam.
