COCO MONTOYA - BLUESMAN by Wilfred Paulse Copyright © 2009. CC Attribution, Non-Commercial, No Derivatives / CC Atribuição, Não Comercial, Não a Obras Derivadas
The 7th Rio das Ostras Jazz & Blues Festival held in Rio das Ostras, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil from the 10th to the 14th of June 2009 featured the renowned blues singer and guitarrist Coco Montoya as well as a top notch line-up of jazz musicians and singers.
We have a mischievous Siamese cat named Coco. After this cat tried to get into a jar of cocoa, my daughter printed a label for the jar saying “Dammit Coco”.
We just love Coco, our frisbee catching dog. Today we got some good shots of her with prized Chuckit Frisbee. The water was cold but she went for a swim anyway, so too did our other love, her brother Teddy . Having two active dogs in the family gets us out most days for a walk with the dogs, beach, park, lake, something so they can run and swim. They have wonderful coats from good food lots of exersise and swiming, Coco sleeps on our bed, I know it is a bad habit, and Teddy has an old couch just in the next room. They are very well cared for but not spoiled, only positive reinenforcement for these dogs for discipline.
Coco Candy came home last night. She was very happy to see me when I picked her up from the vet. She looked like she couldn't wait to get out of there.
She has been leaving her bandages alone. However, she keeps licking on the "Drug Patch" on her foot. She has to go back to the vet today just to remove the patch, and then in another few days to remove her bandage. In ten days time her stitches will be removed. I guess we will have to wait for the hair on her backside and tail to grow back to see what it's really going to look like.
Miracle was very curious about the bandaged stump. It took only a little bit for them to start playing with each other again. As soon as Coco saw her little security blanket she started purring.
Coco is a cremello mare at our local stable. I was at the stables photographing a new foal, and while waiting for her to get to her feet, I took shots of this lovely horse. The light was terrible. The sun had set, and the fluorescent lamps were poor. So I cranked the D200 up to ISO1250 and then worked in B&W in the computer.
Foxy is the inquisitive stable cat in the background.

My baby girl Coco with her prized Chuckit Frisbee at the lake playing some fetch. Coco can catch the Frisbee most times and loves to swim at the beach or lake every chance she gets, which is most days. She is very well cared for and very fit, she has her own chair in our living room and sleeps on our bed! Opps bad habit but she is our baby and she is a wonderful dog, I have had several good dogs but only a few wonderful ones, she is in the wonderful catagory.
