Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

My baby girl Coco with her prized Chuckit Frisbee at the lake playing some fetch. Coco can catch the Frisbee most times and loves to swim at the beach or lake every chance she gets, which is most days. She is very well cared for and very fit, she has her own chair in our living room and sleeps on our bed! Opps bad habit but she is our baby and she is a wonderful dog, I have had several good dogs but only a few wonderful ones, she is in the wonderful catagory.
Coco is a cremello mare at our local stable. I was at the stables photographing a new foal, and while waiting for her to get to her feet, I took shots of this lovely horse. The light was terrible. The sun had set, and the fluorescent lamps were poor. So I cranked the D200 up to ISO1250 and then worked in B&W in the computer.
Foxy is the inquisitive stable cat in the background.

As much as I love her previous name, I changed it so she could have color names like her older sis Peach :)

Day 3 with foster Coco:
She continues to eat well...she really needs to pack on some weight.
She is now spending her time with either me or the boyz...vs. isolating herself upstairs.
She will now growl and bark to express her displeasure (did this 2 times today - once to get a child to back of, and the other to get Harley to back off). The volunteer that head her for a few days before me indicated she would move in for a bite without warning (however she would always inhibit herself, and not follow through). So I am happy she is learning to communicate with others more appropriately.
She is making some attempts to play with me. She has no interest in playing with dogs or toys yet, but she is can be engaged by trying to paw at my wiggling fingers.
Also turns out that she likes to give kiss...she has done this to me a few times.
She is also venturing a little further from me in the leash free park (I only take her into the section for small shy dogs)...usually nobody there, with the occasion human and dog coming in from time to time. She also approached a human again all on her own! She also has the opportunity to watch the other dogs people on the other side of the fence, without being overly intimidated.
We are also going to have to really concentrate on housebreaking. I wasn't sure if it was nerves, or she just hasn't had to hold if for any periods of time - but I am quite confident that she has never been house trained or pee pad trained in the past. So lots of visits outside, as she doesn't seem to ask to go out - and if she does...I haven;t figured out what that behaviour is.

The fabulous Miss Coco Peru, drag star extraordinaire, doing her show of comedy, music and storytelling.
I recognized this girl from the one and only time I have been to anything like a strip bar in Los Angeles. It was a bikini club called Plan B, and the last time i saw this girl she was rubbing her ass on my crotch and it was rather awesome. I recognized her, and told her she was a great dancer. She thanked me, not quite understanding what i meant. Then I said "I mean, at work too, at Plan B!" She immediately ran off away from me in mock embarrassment, but came back to have a chat and pose for some pictures with kozy (who had been at Plan B that night as well).
