The good thing about having neglected this stream and let the cobwebs take over is that I don't have to go out to get a nice macro. :-)
Yes, it's raining here today.
I wish you all a wonderful week.
Hard to believe we had an 80-degree summer-like evening on Tuesday and then snow on the ground three mornings later - that's Minnesota for you! Here is a shot of the beautiful grounds around Minnehaha Falls with a bit of that fall-season feel!

I captured this image of a cobweb near Fountains Abbey in North yorkshire.
The sunlight was shining through the web and the background was in complete shadow. So I dialled down the Exposure Bias and added a slow shutter speed. And let the wind and a little camera movement do the rest.
I then used a bit of artistic license to create this final image in LRC!
Jewel like raindrops, stuck on a cobweb.

While watering, I noticed that water drops on a cobweb had formed a gemstone veil over a nasturtium.
Well, I added a few (maybe a couple more than a few actually) pictures last week of a barbed wire fence all shot from roughly the same spot ~ this is the gate at the edge of the field so I reckon I've squeezed quite a lot out of my 5 minutes there! I did take a different shot for 7DOS today but it wasnt' until I looked at it on the big screen that I realised my focus was slightly off, just enough to annoy me and make it unusable~ very frustrating!!!
