I haven't been on here for a while because I don't have much time to take photos these days. In fact, I don't even have time to upload them to the pc!
So, on this rare occurrence that I'm on my pc, here is a quick snap I took on my phone one morning as I was walking my son around the estate, trying to get the wee soul to sleep.
I had planned to crop it a little but my phone seems to have added a frame that I quite like so I'm just leaving it as it is.

It had been a while since I experienced snow in the winter. A recent trip to the Sierras brought back memories of snowy winters spent on the East Coast, helped me recharge my batteries and provided me a much needed chance to dust the cobwebs off of my cameras. The snow covered landscapes were such a joy! In this scene, shot with my DJI Mini 3 pro, I was drawn by the contrast of the white snow on the ground against the warm light of the setting sun shining on the tree tops on the side of the mountains
After a foggy night, the garden was covered with lacy cobwebs today, each one sprinkled in little droplets of dew. Very pretty, the spiders have been extremely busy!

Triangulate Cobweb Spider (Steatoda triangulosa). This specimen is another uninvited guest that had taken up residence in a dark corner of my basement. Arvada, Jefferson Co., Colo.
The good thing about having neglected this stream and let the cobwebs take over is that I don't have to go out to get a nice macro. :-)
Yes, it's raining here today.
I wish you all a wonderful week.
Hard to believe we had an 80-degree summer-like evening on Tuesday and then snow on the ground three mornings later - that's Minnesota for you! Here is a shot of the beautiful grounds around Minnehaha Falls with a bit of that fall-season feel!
