I'm back in the air after 24 hours in Amsterdam. Seconds after take-off, this highway interchange appears below the plane. Note to self: stop wearing striped shirts if you're going to take pictures out the plane window, dummy!
Cloverleaf Local Schools 49 - 1980s Wayne Chaperone Chevrolet - Retired; Mike & B Sales - Newcomerstown, Ohio. Bought used in 1998. Originally one of three.
This store opened in 1972 with the mall and was the largest JCPenney in Virginia for many years. It measures 200,000 square feet on two floors with an exaggerated mechanical penthouse, giving it the appearance of a much larger store from the front. It was built with a detached Auto Center that converted to Firestone in 1983.
This store closed in 2000 and relocated to a smaller location at Chesterfield Towne Center, about 4 miles away. This building and the mall it used to anchor will be demolished in 2012 in favor of a new mixed-use development on the site.
The intersection of B and C roads was the first cloverleaf design to be used in the state of South Carolina. There are 230 miles of paved roads and many additional miles of dirt and gravel roads throughout the Site. When SRS’ road system was built, it handled even more traffic than it does today, and the cloverleaf was designed to keep the traffic moving at the intersection.

The Alfa Romeo 33 was introduced in 1983 as a replacement for the Alfa Sud as a five door hatchback, designed by Ermanno Cressoni of Centro Stile Alfa Romeo, along with a Sportswagon (Estate) designed by Pininfarina
The model received a mild facelift in 1986, Exterior alterations were limited to indicator lens colour changes and minor amendments to grill and bumpers. A 1.8 litre diesel engine was also introduced in some markets.
A second facelift in 1990 saw the release of the Second Series featuring a heavily restyled front and rear ends in line with the new Alfa family look.
At the top of the revised range was the new four wheel drive version, introduced as the Permanent 4 which was renamed to Q4 starting from 1992. Late production 33s also do not suffer from the rust problems of their ancestors, as their frames are galvanized in the manner Alfa Romeo introduced with the 164.
