Os presento a la nueva peque de la casa. Al final no he podido resistirme y también caí.

Su peluca aun está en aduanas, así que mientras, hemos secuestrado la de Mei Mei XD pero lo que más me cuesta es acostumbrarme a este obitsu...

Turns out catadioptric lenses can have great bokeh under the right conditions — even if you're not into the donut bokeh. I made this with a Tamron SP 500 mirror lens. And I like the Monet quality to its rendering here.

Also known as Red Clover. All species of Clover as well as other kinds of legumes, are nitrogen-fixing plants. With the help of bacteria in their root nodules, they convert atmospheric nitrogen into a usable form for themselves and other plants! Thus, Clover is beneficial for improving soil fertility and reducing the need for synthetic nitrogen fertilizers.

Have a good week everyone.

They were near Dron farm in Perthshire this afternoon.

I was doing insect-flower macro-photography in the backyard and laid down to get close to the bees working the clover. As I was waiting for some bees to come closer I took some shots of the clover itself which is neat to see at this scale. This clover has some purple colors on it's flowers so I'm calling this purple clover.

Cloverly scenery I

I was so wowed by the wild garlic earlier in the week I returned Saturday morning with the aim to explore a bit further. Although taken not too far from my previous image you can see the terrain is completely different. This took a bit more effort to reach - possibly not saying a lot given the previous image was taken within 10m of a road and I’d only had to walk about 30m from the pull-in where I left my car!

This was one of those occasions when patience was needed as by the time I had set up a cloud was in front of the sun. Took a few mins for it to clear then the dappled light with the sunlight falling on the top of the garlic covered slope was back. I desaturated the greens a bit to make the image easier on the eye (in my opinion anyway).

Doesn’t have my ‘trademark’ sunstar but that slope and lighting really attracted me so hope you like it too.

I might post another shot before I head west to the land of the Dom’s and Brian’s but otherwise I’ll be away next week adding to my editing backlog.

last july, i took many photos of clover, yet none of them spoke to me. this week, i’ve done a serious study of clover. this “weed” contains so much richness: color, texture, shape. i couldn’t choose just one image. my stream will contain clover for a few days. i loved this theme—it pushed me to look deeper into everyday beauty.

This clover flower reminded me of Raspberry ripple ice cream. The almost hidden weevil obviously couldn't get enough of it :-)

A beautiful little butterfly seen fluttering close to ground level near food sources.

Purplish/blue on upper wing surface.

Wing diameter just 20mm.

Food source for larvae includes members of family Fabaceae such as garden peas, clover and emu foot.

My stream hit 10,000 views today!!!! Yay!!! :) Thanks for all your support my fabulous flickr friends!!

I'm so thrilled with this shot. My mom and I went for a walk at our local river yesterday. (The river is actually to the left out of the pic.) I was so amazed by how thick this field of clover was....it was fun to play around with the depth of field here, something I've never really done with landscapes before. I hope you can see in this small image that the part that's in focus are those different weed things sticking out of the clover! Oh and that cool looking building back there is a boat club.

This hit Explore!! Thanks guys. :)
