Field farming is thriving on the gentle slopes of the western foot of Mt. Hakone, where potatoes, radishes, cabbage, lettuce, and other crops are grown. Greenhouses and tunnel-type vinyl greenhouses are lined up on the slopes.

The day after we took the cableway to see the city from above, and the reach the Flora (botanical garden). Very nice view from up there!

a funny thing happened, we took the cableway from the opposite entrance of the main one, just because we happened to be there, and when we arrived on the other side we realized that there was a huge queue meanwhile we didn't do any!

Still bad weather and it´s not about laziness anymore but who´d be walking with camera in the rain? :-)
