These mountains appear to have their heads in the clouds

Watching the sun come up at North Avoca Beach, Central Coast, NSW, Australia.

Another look through the Nicola Valley and big fluffy white clouds are circulating. The inclement weather we had encountered on our way in dissipated and once again changed the landscape.

This time, we are at the second lake and the reflections are strong. The white clouds reflect well in the blue waters from the sky. A short pullout, a quick setup and then on to the next opportunity.

Still bad weather and it´s not about laziness anymore but who´d be walking with camera in the rain? :-)

Have a great week!

I had some dreams they were clouds in my coffee.

Cloudy sunrise from Umina Beach on the Central Coast, NSW, Australia.

Clouds blowing along a steep mountainside.

Clouds are the dominant subjects over the skies of my home Northwest Germany for a couple of weeks. During my hiking tour along River Werre the sun was rarely visible. Löhne, Ostwestfalen, Germany

First time out shooting in 2019, and although we had some doubts about the weather but the conditions didn't let us down.

Beautiful sunsets need cloudy skies.

Beautiful sunset colors, clouds and especially atmosphere.

A cloudy morning on lake Acworth as the sun tries to get hold of the day.

The Abbey was founded in 793, but much of the structure is Norman, as is the Tower, built with Roman bricks from the ruins of Verulanium. The Abbey was dissolved in 1593; it was the biggest Benedictine monastery in England. For whatever reason Henry 8th did not knock the Church down, it remains the second largest in England, with the longest nave (106m). That was really decent of him.
