View up into the fells of the Lake District, captured at the sort of time when I should have had my feet up in the pub. Instead, I was still on the hills. Great view though :)

Above the cloudbase on Mauna Kea, we sat on top of a cinder cone and watched the clouds blow over the landscape below.
One of the many things I like about Japan are its cloud formations. They're a lot more exciting and dramatic than California where I am most of the year. I'm assuming it has something to do with latitude and humidity, in any event... if you love clouds, Japan is a place to visit.
I have never seen undulations like that from a thunderstorms anvil! I was awestruck til the sun set and beauty light faded
