Just about the only view of the Sear Tower one can find from ground up to the very top.

Drive across the hills with the evening sun, some fantastic clouds!

Above the cloudbase on Mauna Kea, we sat on top of a cinder cone and watched the clouds blow over the landscape below.

Hot in gdn @ Upton House NT & very steep slopes, sat down in hte shade & liked this cloudscape

One of the many things I like about Japan are its cloud formations. They're a lot more exciting and dramatic than California where I am most of the year. I'm assuming it has something to do with latitude and humidity, in any event... if you love clouds, Japan is a place to visit.

Landscape in southwest Germany (the mountains belong to the Schäbische Alb). The sky is overcated with clouds. Nice summer 2007?

I have never seen undulations like that from a thunderstorms anvil! I was awestruck til the sun set and beauty light faded

Taken at the Essex County Cricket Ground awaiting the match to start.

 

It didn't. Abandoned due to the weather. Typical for the UK, Glorious sunshine for weeks on end and when I decided to go to a cricket match it rains for the 24 hours before thus making the outfield too dangerous for play. Nothing left to do but adjourn to the pub.
