Sunrise near Callington in South Australia.
A few flashes of lightning about on this morning but in this shot it is just the sunrise, from the left of screen, creating some great colours in the clouds.
We were headed roughly in the direction of typhoon Kaigui, that had shut down Hangzhou and Shanghai one day earlier. I encountered some wild cloudscapes.
The usual scratches and reflections on the windows didn´t bother me here, and I actually enjoyed the way the sun was refracted by these imperfections - I hope you feel the same way about it :)

I suspect this low white cloud is actually fog that was lifted by localized winds. On the horizon, the darker cloud is probably ground fog resulting from sublimation of the cold snow cover.
Its formation occurred from nothing in a matter of a half minute.
Part of a wheat field in the Yorkshire Wolds, near Huggate, East Yorkshire, England. Pure blue skies punctuated by fluffy white clouds when I took this photo. Taken on 35mm Fujichrome Neopan Acros 100 black and white negative film using a Nikon FM2 35mm SLR and a Nikkor 50mm f/2 Ais standard lens. I used both a circular polariser and an orange filter to punch up the contrast in the cloudscape. The film was processed at rated speed in Ilfotec Dev, digitised using a Plustek 8200i film scanner and split toned using LR6.
