Wonderful seeing lots of irisation over West Auckland as the wind blew and sun shone. Can see Venus shining lower left corner.
With some power lines for interest ;-) I love these wispy clouds; seen yesterday on my walk during my work break. Orton'ed up a little bit in Picnik.
Played with the colors in Lightroom on this one.
Taken on a trip to Lofoten & Vesterålen in June 2015.
Captured this cloudscape on the West end of Santa Rosa Island near Fort Pickens in Florida. This was a 30 sec exposure at f/22 with ISO 50. Camera used with the Sony A7R with the Sony FE 24-70mm f/4 lens on a tripod. A 10 stop ND circular filter was used. Post processing with Lightroom 5.7 and OnOne Perfect Effects 9.
Late yesterday afternoon I noticed that we were in for an interesting evening cloudscape. So I headed over to Woodlawn Boat Ramp in east Gulf Breeze Florida to capture the sunset. This shot was done with the Sony A7R (1/15 sec at f/11, ISO 50) using the Sony FE 16-35mm f/4 lens on a tripod. Post processing with Lightroom 5.7 along with OnOne Perfect Effects 9.

Finally a good chase day I can brag about....
A moderate risk day in South Central Nebraska, with storm forming on the western side of Dawson County & counties due south and southwest.
Storms were just forming and becoming severe and I was approaching them from the east. Some fantastic cloudscapes right before tall the action took place that day
