Not a lot of clear lightning strikes that evening, but there were plenty lighting up the clouds. The wind through Mount Walker gave the old windmill a good workout. 26 December 2017.

Whitstable beach - before the clouds took over the entire sky.
20sec @ f/18, at which aperture one really finds out that a FX sensor is a dust magnet.
Yesterday, I had to pull over to the side of the road to take this shot. Wish I had my real camera with me.
Taken on Cissbury Ring, an Iron Age hill fort on the South Downs... over to the right you can just see the Isle of Wight on the horizon.
