Amazing thunderhead this morning. I heard some thunder this morning, looked out the bay window and saw this to the southeast. The sun had just gone behind the clouds and cast an eerie yellow glow. Beautiful!

You could really see the updraft as the cloud quickly grew. Several rumbling claps of thunder but I never saw any lightning.

This was shot at one of the turnouts along Big Sur while I waited to rendezvous with some friends.

I had just been complaining that the sky was all gray, there would be no sunset and nothing worth shooting when the sun broke through.
