These rare Nacreous clouds also known as polar stratospheric clouds (PSCs), appeared over Dublin for the last couple of days.
These rare and beautiful clouds shimmer with colours you find in a seashell, hence their nickname "mother of pearl clouds".

We had just been in a snow flurry and then when we were on HWY 395 it was awesome to look back at the clouds that had caused it.

The Espiguette beach is a magnificent wild beach near Le Grau-du-Roi, in the south of France. It stretches for some 18 kilometers and is renowned for its impressive dunes and unspoilt natural environment.
Hilo Lightning – When I see lightning, it’s just a flash of light and it’s gone. When I capture on camera, I can see all its details. The light pollution from Hilo made the sky orange and the lack of light pollution made the blue sky. This is the best one out of the 18 exposures I took. Lightning is unpredictable and you don’t know where exactly it’ll flash. 15 sec, ISO 100, f/8 @18mm.
Jökulsárlón, Iceland.
Because they are so high up in the atmosphere, cirrus clouds consist of ice particles suspended in the air. Accordingly, this photo depicts mainly ice in the air and on the land and water.
I guess that is why they call this place Iceland ;-)
