Uma vista mágica da Pedra do sino - Teresópolis - Rj. Os tons do céu encantam com suas variações, na nuvem em primeiro plano a mão que se estende.

A great song:
Negramaro - Nuvole e Le Lenzuola
...
ore
che lente
e inossidabili
attraversano il silenzio del mio cielo
e si nascondono ad un tratto
dietro nuvole
che straziano il sereno
le senti riaffiorare quando tutto
tutto sembra aver trovato il giusto peso

Approaching storm clouds over Onkaparinga Hills. This was the 1st storm that hit Adelaide and the Clipsal 500 this afternoon.
Decided to re-process this with Photomatix (instead of Aurora HDR), Photoshop and, of course, a black and white, added organic noise and a touch of warmth.
Lots of shadow & midtone detail.

This was taken last summer in the Ashton, ID area. A very unique cloud formation. It was horribly dry in this area as you can see by the parched vegetation in the foreground.
The clouds were moving across the sky at a good pace this morning ~ just moving along to make room for the heavy dark clouds that were coming along!!
Stay Safe Everyone!
Thanks to everyone who views this photo, adds a note, leaves a comment and of course BIG thanks to anyone who chooses to favourite my photo .... Thanks to you all!
I hit the backroads Thursday morning on my way to school. Lately I've been listening to a Spanish lauguage CD, trying to learn a little something, but this morning, the lyricism of Tchaikowsky was the perfect background music for my drive.
First morning after descending from Mount Kinabalu. Did a long exposure of the fog sweeping in, if look closely, you can see the light rays between the trees!
Thanks Nora for arranging the accommodation here for us, beautiful place to watch the clouds and Mount Kinabalu.
Storm clouds approaching in the evening would eventually create some pretty strong thunderstorms over night. Between the hot summers, cold winters, hail storms and tornadoes, North Texas is considered to have the most violent weather in the country. Keller, Texas, USA, March 2015
Cloud chaser!..I could hear the A380 above the clouds,a hint of blue apeared and there it was.A Singapoor Airlines A380.
Late day clouds over the Grand Canyon, North Rim, Arizona. This is one of a sequence of shots with the same or nearly the same composition as the clouds moved over the canyon changing their appearance and the lighting of the canyon below.
But no rain in the clouds as is the usual here lately. The drought streak of 52 days with 0.51 inches of rain continues.... though it was pleasantly cooler yesterday.
Oconaluftee Valley Overlook, Great Smoky Mountains National Park, NC
Planning my trip and sitting over photos of the Smokies, I gathered that Oconaluftee Valley Overlook and Clingmans Dome are the places to be for sunrise. This was then also confirmed by a park ranger, who also suggested these places.
During the summer months the sun is rising to the left of the frame, the side light really showing off the mountains and hills.
Around sunrise - this was taken 20 minutes after the official sunrise time - the clouds all but vanished and were replaced by fog that started rolling in. I had no idea that just a short ways further up, at Newfound Gap, the mountains were completely shrouded in fog.
Wow just put this panoramic together and I captured more interesting clouds than I thought! This one is from a couple of hours ago.
