This weekend I woke up to shoot some early morning sunrise shots. I've always wanted to go up to the top of Willow Hill Golf Course to get a shot of the city. The clouds obscured the view for most of the morning, but they made for interesting effects when they cleared a bit. I'll be going back to try this in different weather conditions. If you happen to be in the Glenview area when the sun is coming up, this is worth a shot.
Don't forget about our photo walk this Sunday afternoon with an added feature. I'll be giving tips and answering any of your questions during the tour. Get details at the Best of Chicago Walking Tours website.

Wir passierten diese gefährliche Cumolo-Nimbus-Wolke, die alle Technik -
auch die großer Flugzeuge - lahmlegen kann.
I love seeing patterns in clouds and this collection almost made a heart :-) I love clouds...I take so many pics of them when we go for drives, and then they sit in my computer...so I decided to share a few.
Managed to go camping on the weekend with a few friends and finally took a few shots, seems like forever since I have been out...
Luckily, the clouds had a few holes in them :-)
Taken from the window of an airplane as we cruised through separate layers of clouds.
We just happened to catch the sun as it was 'setting' from one to the other.
There's no land in this shot, only clouds. Really.
More cloud shots over Denver. Taken within minutes of the previous photo. The saturation on these clouds was increased to try and recapture what I saw in real life. The colors are real. This is not fake nor is it a composit photo. Other than tweeking the color, the photo has not been altered.

I was so overwhelmed to see this wonderful sight of sunlight bursting through the clouds. But I feel I could have shot this much better, not sure how I could have improved though. Suggestions would be great!
