Sunlight lighting up the tops of low clouds before sunset, Haleakala national park, Maui Island, Hawaii. More of these to come.
I got this shot later in the morning after the Sun was well risen. I was amazed that these clouds were still hanging around and putting on a great display.

The clouds are here
They aren't up in the sky.

The Trade Winds -known as "Alisios"- push clouds full of water through the ocean to La Palma Island; then the clouds collide with the "Cumbre Nueva" range -1500 to 1600 m. high- and fall from the top, dissolving itself because of the pressure and temperature. Seeing from National Park of La Caldera de Taburiente, La Palma Island.
