after driving to Horseshoe Bay and back, I fell asleep in the car, and awoke suddenly and saw this fabulous cloud through the windshield, picked up my camera, no idea what the settings were, and went click ... and I lucked out,

I ensnared it's pixels for posterity :)

Calgary had a great Summer This is a part of a nice summers sky.

I stepped out of the office this afternoon as I spotted these interesting swirls of cloud in the east, illuminated by the setting sun

The beam looks like it is eminating from the cloud.

Not something I've done a stitched pano of before but pretty pleased with the result. Looking out over Cardigan Bay on to the Irish Sea. Thankfully the rain belt passed us by but was pretty impressive to observe. I loved the flatness of the sea and reflection of the white of the cloud on the water.
