Sunrise this morning was pretty special. Dialed down the exposure to give it a more realistic look.

When I left on my day trip to Ya Ha Tinda, they sky was almost cloudless and I wondered if it was going to be worth going out. Then this guy showed up.
One of the storm fronts that has KO'ed us this month. We've had four since and the fifth is smashing us right now. We're expecting more flooding, tornadoes and very high straight line winds so this post will be it for a while. Hope the weather is better where you are.

We had a small storm this afternoon and after it had died down there was this massive cloud that appeared over the town. The late afternoon sun was reflecting off it and it sort of looked a bit like a nuclear explosion.
A windy and cloudy day over Lake Michigan. Very common this time of year. A circular polarizer was used to bring out the clouds.
Many afternoons I am looking out the window to check to see what sort of sunset to exspect. Did not look to be a great sunset, however I saw that there would be some interesting clouds. So it was off to one of my faverit places that is close, which is the Woodlawn Boat Ramp. This location is located in east Gulf Breeze, Florida a sort distinince form where I live. With this shot I was using the Sony A7RM2 with the Sony FE 16-35mm F4.0 ZA OSS lens. The long exposure photo consists of 192 exposures using the Sony Smooth Reflection App.
this was taken from boat at Stingray City in Grand Cayman. My camera was in it's underwater housing so there was water on the outer lens, which I guess is why this has a hazy look to it.
