I captured this from Trail Ridge Road in the Rocky Mountain National Park. This is the first glow of the sunrise. The valley below is covered with clouds dancing across the landscape. Standing there it was pitch black with hints of light starting to emerge. Yes, it was very cold and windy. I captured this from behind my truck to block the wind.
Thanks for stopping by

I would like to introduce some music to you. Monika Thomas is a wonderful, charmy polish girl in UK and I just love her songs. She has kindly allowed me to put the link to her music with my photos.

thank you :-)))
A lovely Saturday afternoon walk through the clouds. I love it out here when the weather is like this - it's like walking through a dream. Visibility was very low - only a dozen or so metres. It was a lovely cool change from the hot weather we've been having lately.
The lovely morning clouds at the Veluwe.

Clouds as they appeared outside my house today. Don't know what type they were, but they were weird!
Beautiful summer days with mighty clouds - that's what life is for...

This was a Derelict church we found with the majok crew when on tour with c4, it had a beauty all of its own!
These lens shaped altocumulus clouds are often seen east of the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains and are a sign of strong winds aloft.
Many times, cirrocumulus will lower to transition to altocumulus.
Picture of the day
This photo was taken at 2am approaching the South coast of the UK (you can see Bognor Regis in the foreground on the coast and London in the upper right). On the Northern horizon was a huge bright cloud in a very dark sky. This is a Noctilucent cloud, which means "Night Shining". They are only seen during the midsummer months towards the Northern horizon as they only form over the poles. They are around 250,000ft high which is why they are bright as they are lit from the sun on the other side of the Earth. How water got so high into the atmosphere remains a mystery to science but it is believed that it is made from ice crystals from passing comets.
