S1 St James House, Vicar Lane Sheffield. 10 stop ND filter. 1 min 12 seconds exposure. Converted to black and white, boosting the sky. Lightened shadow cast by another building bottom right. Apart from that, as shot.

Combination of cloud movement and slow shutter under appropriate light may produce dramatic effects on the photographed landscape.

I had 3 days to burn in the city before I moved to Belfast, UK. I had several shots in mind that I wanted to take before leaving. I felt like i got some of them. But I am glad i didn't get all. It always gives me an opportunity to come back home and get more.

Looking down on Whitby and the harbour from near the top of the famous 199 steps. The steps lead up from the town to Whitby Abbey and were featured in Bram Stokers Dracula.

The storm watch today brought in all the rain clouds over the city. The Eve sky made this spectacular with the ND filter making the cloud movements more interesting

We took a little drive out to Locust yesterday to check out some antique shops and wander around... cut the trip a little short to get back and set up for the afternoon storms! Check back this evening for videos and shots from the storms... some crazy stuff!

The time spent cloning out all the dust spots alone was enough to make me never want to shoot stuff like this, nevermind the five minutes per exposure.

Still, was good to be out of my comfort zone.
