A timelapse I shot on my iphone6. It took 20 minutes to produce 30 seconds of video.

I had 3 days to burn in the city before I moved to Belfast, UK. I had several shots in mind that I wanted to take before leaving. I felt like i got some of them. But I am glad i didn't get all. It always gives me an opportunity to come back home and get more.

Long exposure shot using my ND110 filter. Taken in Kensington Gardens some time last year. I had dismissed the orignal of this shot, it was in colour and had a horrible red colour cast. So I played around with it in Silver Efex, converted it to b&w, added some film grain, and am much happier with this result!

I finally made it up to explore Mt. Tamalpais on Saturday - super glad that I did. I absolutely love the terrain along Ridgecrest Blvd. It was really windy here - you can see that from the amount of blurring in the trees. I can imagine this would be an awesome spot to lay back in the grass for a while if the sun were out and it was 25 degrees or so warmer. :)

Racton Monument (known locally as Racton Ruin) is a folly situated on a hill in Racton, West Sussex, England. It was commissioned by the 2nd Earl of Halifax, possibly as a summerhouse for the nearby Stansted Estate, though an alternative theory suggests it could have been constructed so the Earl could watch his merchant ships dock at the nearby port village of Emsworth.

It was designed by architect Theodosius Keene, son of Henry Keene, and constructed between 1766 and 1775. It was designed with a triangular base, with a round turret at each angle. Of a red brick construction, the building was originally faced with flints and stood four storeys high (80 feet (24 m)), a height it retains to this day. However, it has been abandoned for over a century and is in a state of ruin, with much of the original flint facing having disappeared, its floors having disappeared and its roof having caved in. Furthermore the walls are adorned with graffiti, with the building sometimes being used for illicit behaviour such as drug use.

It is owned by a private owner who has planning permission to turn the monument into a dwelling, though these plans are yet to materialise. Its isolated nature, being set away from populated places and major roads, has led to several cases of suicides at the monument, most recently in 2009. Occult acts are known to take place on occasion there. The monument is also popular with paranormal investigators visiting to investigate reported paranormal activity at the site. Witnesses claim to have seen bricks thrown from above, heard ghostly shouts, and intrigue surrounds the myth that the folly may have been used by smugglers.

Henry Moore - Draped Seated Woman. Yorkshire Sculpture Park. I was really rushed for time on this. I used a 10 stop ND plus a 3 stop ND to get an exposure of 3 minutes. Then realised I'd inadvertently used ISO 800, then had to go. Never mind. I always liked grainy black and whites.

S1 St James House, Vicar Lane Sheffield. 10 stop ND filter. 1 min 12 seconds exposure. Converted to black and white, boosting the sky. Lightened shadow cast by another building bottom right. Apart from that, as shot.

Combination of cloud movement and slow shutter under appropriate light may produce dramatic effects on the photographed landscape.
