It replicates the cool moist conditions found in tropical mountain regions between 1,000 metres (3,300 ft) and 3,000 metres (9,800 ft) above sea level, found in South-East Asia, Middle- and South America. It features a 42-metre (138 ft) "Cloud Mountain", accessible by an elevator, and visitors will be able to descend the mountain via a circular path where a 35-metre (115 ft) waterfall provides visitors with refreshing cool air.
This patch of lush inter-Andean cloudforest near Pojo was separate from the main patch known as Siberia, closer to Comarapa.

Those giants are Cyclobalanopsis morri, being taken in a remote cloud forest in the southern Taiwan. Those trees grow on the mountain lee side and are rarely impacted by typhoons.
Part of the beautify of Ecuador's Clod Forest (Mindo) is that sunsets like these can be seen everyday. This is a view from Mashpi Lodge in Ecuador.

An epiphyte is a plant that grows, without roots or parasitism, upon another plant. It gets moisture and nutrients from the air and from dust and debris.
Thing is, if you needed a pee in the middle of the night . . . its a long way down in the dark. Just sayin'.
