A cloud forest is different from a rainforest, since the differing climates cause different species to thrive. Many different types of plants grow on the trees, and you can see orchids, moss, and more on the trunks.
Monteverde cloudforest, Costa Rica. Most of the mosture reach the forest as clouds, mist and fog rather than rain. This is a habitat with a huge bio diversity e.g 100 mammal species, 400 birds and 420 orchids species
