Lemon-Rumped (black and yellow birds) and Blue-Grey Tanagers feeding on bananas. The owner of the garden said he puts out one hundred bananas a day to keep the birds coming.

Tarabita, or cable car that rides across a valley to the entrance of the mountainous cloud forest reserve of Bosque Protector Mindo-Nambillo. It is a nice place to experience Andean cloud forest for a few hours. Lots of cool waterfalls and maintained trails. You can tube down the river too.
