As NS 26Z rolls east, a very small hole in the clouds allowed just enough sunshine to peak through and illuminate the scene.

On a clear day you usually can see the summit of Mt. Pico (2351 m), but if the weather is a bit impetuous clouds are clumping around the volcano mountain as thick whipped cream.
Photo taken between the islands São Jorge and Pico. If you take a closer look you can see the rugged landscape and the rain that falls on the flanks of the volcano.

Some Clouds are there which you can watch rarely. Another evening cloud capture from my area. Design or pattern of this cloud looks like Aurora in northern part of the World.

Not the best quality photo but I love the cloud. This was taken with my 3.1mp kodak. An older shot that I found. I love taking pictures of sunsets and sunrises and this is one of them. Having lived in a smaller town with wide open spaces, the sunsets seemed to be more amazing. In the background is Mt. Diablo. This was taken from my patio in my previous home in Rio Vista, CA.
Rio Vista was on the news these past few weeks due to the two wayward whales, mother & calf, that found themselves in the Delta. They've been named Delta & Dawn. It took weeks in trying to encourage them to swim back into the salt water of the Pacific Ocean. It was a happy ending because they finally swam back to the Pacific Ocean just yesterday.
