I got this shot later in the morning after the Sun was well risen. I was amazed that these clouds were still hanging around and putting on a great display.
Moved further down the coast to Gullane Bents in East Lothian. Few minutes after the shot heavy rain came. Feel really lucky there was time to collect my equipment and head home

it takes several years to catch such a sunset glow in beijing, bloody clouds blanket half the sky over west moutain

The Trade Winds -known as "Alisios"- push clouds full of water through the ocean to La Palma Island; then the clouds collide with the "Cumbre Nueva" range -1500 to 1600 m. high- and fall from the top, dissolving itself because of the pressure and temperature. Seeing from National Park of La Caldera de Taburiente, La Palma Island.
Very interesting cloud formations between Hanmer Springs and the coast in New Zealand

This was taken on Friday afternoon from Celia Forest looking over Constantia towards Tokai . We were on our way to search for some waterfalls.
I was just saying the other day how the summer skies aren't as fun as winter and then this happened.
I was in the back yard just after sunset and spotted this cloud. It looked like a big bird, or maybe a pteradactyl.

It's a wonderful experience to drive through the vast stretch of coastal drive known as "17-Mile Drive", with many Vista points. This was shot near a point called "Bird Rock"

I think I like this one even better than the shot taken inside the Colisseum. There was this wonderful swirly cirrus cloud hovering above, adding a little interest to an otherwise plain blue sky. The midday harsh light works well for severe B&W conversions like this, I think!
