I couldn't resist taking this shot, even though I know there a lot of sky/sunset shots out there from far more picturesque locations than my kitchen window!
The cloud momentarily looked rather like some kind of cartoonish creature running across the sky...
As a side note, I know the processing may not to be all's taste, but it's surprisingly close to what was actually there. London can manage some pretty good skies when it puts it's mind to it.
Photo taken in North Berkeley Hills overlooking San Feancisco Bay. Looking towards the Golden Gate Bridge (to the right of the pine tree). Marin County on the right side.
Wispy clouds streak across the sky at sunrise. The photo was taken from Hutchinson Island near Stuart, Florida.

What does the sky do for us? For the boring and the unimaginative, there is nothing there...just as life for them. For others, like me, I see all kinds of things and even if they are not really there, I can make it up because at that very moment as I look up, the world belongs to me an no one else. Well, Alice and Cody were milling around, but I took out my trusty camera and shot this so that I could always go back to it. Not seen that often and thought to be due to the high winds caused by Storm Gertrude. My friend Doug 1st alerted me to these the evening before when he saw them above his house but I missed them. But there they were again this morning as I was leaving for work. I only had time to shoot about a dozen hasty pictures from my drive before starting my commute. They reminded me of the meteor shower in John Wyndham's 'Day Of The Triffids'... Maybe tomorrow we'll all wake up blind... It's the end of the world!
