Weather phenomenon. Iridescent clouds are caused by small water droplets or ice crystals which scatter light individually (larger ice crystals produce halos).

An awesome cloud formation over Mona Vale headland this morning

This is a shot from Fort Desoto beach after the sunset. You can see the beauty of the sky and the lovely reflections of the clouds even after the sun drowned in the sea.

A nice cloud that caught my attention driving home from work on Friday. Monday blues? Hope you have a good week.

i saw this huge and dramatic looking cloud formation at alleppey beach..was

glad i had my camera with me :)

there is nothing much in the image than a huge cloud and silhouettes of tiny

(compared to the cloud) people at the beach :P

this is more of an abstract for me..just another of those " dont know why i

like this " image

 

the actual scene was rather colourless and bright..i prefer this colourful

and dreamy processing to the actual image..hope you guys like this too

"Sunset Cloud Frame"

The sunset on November 22 2024 in northern Colorado was one for the books. I'm so glad I went out this small pond to catch the reflection. Longs Peak, Mount Meeker and the front range mountains provided a lovely silhouette. I was totally in awe during this photo shoot.
