I looked out the window, the clouds were beautiful during the sunset and I reached my camera and ran outside immediately. It was breathtaking!

The setting sun bathes the head of this storm cloud.

First it was a plane, then a bird; what do you think was going to be next?

This was the most amazing cloud. I stared at it all day yesterday as it streaked across the entire Mojave Desert sky. I finally shot it as we were driving home on the freeway. Another view of this cloud is shown here www.flickr.com/photos/45821145@N04/4513725662/in/photostr... It was enormous and gorgeous!

Driving to Barhaven this afternoon, the sky was covered in fabulous cloud formations, I

couldn't resist taking a few shots of them. You could see the tops of corn silks from

the cornfields all across the bottom of this pic! Forgot to mention I love clouds,

always ever-changing, it's the artist in me I guess =)

Sunset on 4th May 2019, travelling through south Nottinghamshire and I saw this lovely decaying rain cloud lit from below by the setting sun. I had to pull off the main A46 road south-west of Newark and park up on a side road and whip out the camera for a few frames of this beauty.

'Clouds' On Black

Ho soffiato sulle nuvole

di TITTY(bio.)

Ho soffiato sulle nuvole addensate sui miei ricordi,

I have blown on the clouds

of TITTY (bio.)

I have blown on the clouds thickened on my memories,

I have stopped tears it suspended in the void,

you distill in the heart,

lost among hisses of wind,

I have looked for lost evanescent fairies between the flowers of lavender and the crying sky of one forgotten August,

I have chained dreams painting them with colored brushes,

I have sailed on a sea of vortexes,

it veils pushed from once of forgetfulness

and I have been suspended to regrets,

one hundred years in a hand and in the other sparks of stars.

he encadenado sueños pintándolos con pinceles colorados,

he navegado sobre un mar de remolinos,

vela empujada de un tiempo de olvido

y he quedado colgada a añoranzas,

ciento años en una mano y en las otras chispas de estrellas.

Captured this cloud formation over Junee, southern NSW, this morning. Moving in a south easterly direction like a huge torpedo. There were two of them but this was the largest and most impressive.

Same night, different approach to a beautiful opportunity.... trying to decide which captures the mood better?

Pico do Arieiro | Madeira Island

Madeira really is an Island for the early birds. You either start to the most eastern part, to get the perfect sunset, but you need to start a good 2 hours before sunrise at least... maybe you prefer the soft light and hope for morning mist in the Fanal forest or like in this picture, you wanna try your luck and hope for a sky full of clouds were you drive through right before sunrise to get this shot.

As you can see, there are always some souls trying to witness this majestic feeling and watching the sun rise through the clouds, as you watch from above.

And YES, it's absolutely worth it starting your day, when most islanders are still asleep.

Virga shafts below dramatic rain clouds minutes after sunset amid the Belt of Venus. The contrast of pink and blue was breathtaking.
