"Polder" is the dutch name for this kind of landschape. A polder is a low-lying tract of land enclosed by embankments (barriers) known as dikes, that forms an artificial hydrological entity, meaning it has no connection with outside water other than through manually operated devices.The Dutch have a long history of reclamation of marshes and fenland, resulting in some 3,000 polders nationwide. About half of all polder surface within northwest Europe is located within the Netherlands.

This one came out better than I thought it would. I hope I get chance to revisit again during May in better light. Mind you, it wasn't too bad. It was nice to have a little time to explore properly. Usually my visits are rushed.

On the evening of Jan 12, 2016 a big snow storm was moving in and finally bringing 2.5 to 3 feet of snow to the Black Forest area.
A routine practice flight today turned into an interesting next video! Here I am in close proximity to these clouds more to come!
