Although it looks like low hanging fog or morning clouds, the "clouds" you see in this image are actually smoke clouds from the Bearpaw forest fire in Grand Teton National Park last September....
This was taken at Schwabacher Landing.
The Flickr map mistakenly labeled the location to be inside the Songkhla province, This spot is actually well inside the Phatthalung boarder.
This shot actually happened a good while after the sun has gone down behind the horizon. I had already started driving back after seeing the sun completely set behind the thick clouds. Not long after, the upper clouds started to glow. I stopped the car, grabbed the camera and managed to capture a few frames. A few minutes later, the red glow just disappeared.
It was sundown that made this sky. I never pass up a pretty sky. Nature is the artist. Protect the globe, there is no escape.
Similar but different to a previous image from a while back.
Hope that everyone has a safe and wonderful weekend!
I looked out the window, the clouds were beautiful during the sunset and I reached my camera and ran outside immediately. It was breathtaking!
