My new Sony a6000 arrived today and it was put to the test capturing the clouds of threatening Monsoon storms over PHX.
I wish I could show you what makes Reunion Island so special but it's impossible with those clouds... Sorry...
Another afternoon view from Gangtok, cloud is raising up in the hill(earlier it was down), Sun is going to set.

#24774 I must admit that when I'm in Iceland I check the weather report, so when I see it's going to be good weather inland I go there immediately as it only last for a few days,had a cloudy day when I was in Landmannalaugar, but when I left the next day I had a wonderful sunny day, a tough road to cycle but it was so wonderful

One of my projects for Christmas was to make a photo book of my friend Tom for his children. That project caused me to search through my backlog of images. We went so many wonderful places this year.

A dew-laden mullein leaf is an ideal spot for this |Clouded Sulphur as it waits for the sun to burn off dew on its own wing as well.
after serve storms came through the Cleveland area, the sky exploded with vivid orange color highlighting these cool Mammatus clouds
A little splash of Autumn colour from Thetford Forest, there are still plenty of leaves hanging on in there, despite the drop in temperature
A big thank you to all my contacts that wished me well today....you are so appreciated. This was the destination, which is usually windy and rough water...what a perfect day with calm water to get this refelction....
Another monsoon photo. I hope to have more because I hope we have many more storms and RAIN. We need the rain.
By this point in the afternoon, the storm cloud had really built up and I was treated to an incredible light show. I expected this show to be short-lived, but the little patch of clear sky that the sun was shining through stuck around to allow me a number of compositions. For this one, I chose to wedge the view towards Hen Cloud between two patches of darkness: the shadowy millstone of the foreground and the distant brooding sky.
