Leuchtende Wolken - das Wolkenspektakel! Sonnenuntergang/Sunset in Staufenberg (Niedersachsen)

My path to the far hills lay directly between the two banks of clouds sitting in the valleys on either side.

The Posto Florestal Fanal on Madeira island. When the clouds are creeping into this little laurel forest, the atmosphere is unbelivable.

Am sure i posted this but nooo.

Have found that living in the lea of the Ruahine Ranges produces some of the most amazing cloud formations. This being no exception. It was really fleeting...just long enough to get the camera and compose.

The moment you realize you should not sit on your couch and rather be out there with your camera.

I tried anyway to capture the amazing burning sky during sunset.

A nice evening, the sun in my back illuminated the clouds from below. it was an interesting kind of sky & cloud glow for only 10 minutes.

...hoping and waiting for a glimpse of the Northern Lights... enjoyed cloud formations instead!
