Another of the places that most impressed me of the Cantabria Coast.
Photographing the north coast, it becomes a difficult task for all the variables to fit, coincidence of sunrise-sunset with high-low tides depending on each place, having good lights and whenever you can look for less-seen frames, it complicates a lot things.
On the technical side, say that I used the combination of a ND four steps filter and a soft gradient ND three steps filter.

Back at work work this week so less time for Flickr headed out last night though and got this shot of Ferrybridge. Just putting slides together for a talk I'm doing tomorrow for Exposure Leeds.
An overcast sky casts a dull light over its surroundings, but the Cloud Gate sculpture glows no matter what.
Prince William Sound is a sound of the Gulf of Alaska on the south coast of the U.S. state of Alaska. It is located on the east side of the Kenai Peninsula. Its largest port is Valdez, at the southern terminus of the Trans-Alaska Pipeline System. Other settlements on the sound, which contains numerous small islands, include Cordova and Whittier plus the Alaska native villages of Chenega and Tatitlek.
James Cook entered Prince William Sound in 1778 and named it Sandwich Sound, after his patron the Earl of Sandwich. The Sound was named in 1778 to honour George III's third son Prince William Henry, then aged 13 and serving as a midshipman in the Royal Navy.
In 1793, Alexander Andreyevich Baranov founded port Voskresensk in the sound, which he called Chugach Bay. The first three-masted ship, Phoenix, was the first ship built by the Russians in America.
Most of the land surrounding Prince William Sound is part of the Chugach National Forest, the second largest national forest in the U.S. Prince William Sound is ringed by the steep and glaciated Chugach Mountains. The coastline is convoluted, with many islands and fjords, several of which contain tidewater glaciers. The principal barrier islands forming the sound are Montague Island, Hinchinbrook Island, and Hawkins Island.
This province is known for their Tulou - a traditional communal residence usually build in a circular configuration.
Fiddling with effects on a gray afternoon after work when we are all fed and relaxing...I guess this is what is called the monsoon season around here, when piles of clouds zoom by and spit a few drops of rain on the plants, teasing everyone with unfulfilled promises of downpours.
Interesting clouds further along the coast reflecting off the sea. The weather has been very changeable lately, rain, wind, everything but warmth. Taken from the North Pier looking east.
