This bird was captured yesterday at Logan Airport and released at Plum Island a few hours later by Norm Smith from MA Audubon. Norm Smith was instrumental in getting policies changed regarding the shooting of snowy owls at airports across the US. They are now trapping and releasing the birds instead of killing them!

This Photo was captured in raw and converted to BW in Photoshop. I find this image interesting due to the detail and shallow depth of field.
