Cooper’s Hawk | Closeups
Although Cooper’s Hawks make for a stable population of low conservation concern in Eastern Ontario, getting good pictures of them is often difficult for they nest high above ground within the canopy of dense woods. Bare and leafed-branches are often in the way of getting clean shots of the birds. However, I got lucky in finding and following Juvenile Cooper’s siblings in the Thousand Islands area. Herewith are a few closeups of the birds.
Closeup of my cat eyes. Right eye is lit by the sun, while the other one is in the shadow which gives a really nice effect imo.
komisch das bei zigaretten-automaten immer marlboro als erste marke vorkommt, schon mal aufgefallen?
Closeup of the background quilting I did. Some of the applique is stitched but the goal was to have it pop!
Mirodoll MSD bodies with the Fairyland LTF Breakaway and Ruru heads. Some modding is in order as her bewbs defy gravity and the hands need to be boiled and posed better.
Some more tests in particular light conditions, studying the effects of tilting the lens, and learning how to expose (if you want to change aperture, you need to open the lens and manually change the aperture ring...)
I know this sounds complicated, but it's magical how much you can play with your creativity.
Maybe you'd have preferred a model, but I was alone today and I already took pictures of my dogs, of my breakfast, of my wake-up red glassed face... now I'm here with some more colors :-)
Can't just get away from photography, and couldn't do much these days. I want my toy to breathe fresh air after 5 months and gave me this shot.
I am amazed with the shot as i had never tried before the reverse lens technique to go so up close.
